It wasn’t quite the same as the thrashing that took place last season, but No. 4 Wisconsin still had very little trouble dispatching visiting Indiana, 59-7, on Saturday.

Montee Ball rushed for three touchdowns and passed for another as the Badgers (6-0, 2-0 Big Ten) rumbled for over 330 yards on 42 carries.

After getting some criticism for running up the score in an 83-20 rout of the Hoosiers last season, Wisconsin coach Bret Bielema made no changes to his game plan on Saturday. Quarterback Russell Wilson and Ball stayed on for most of the third quarter, finally taking to the bench after Ball broke free for a 54-yard touchdown run to put the Badgers on top, 52-7, with 2:38 left in the third.

Wisconsin scored in all three phases, getting a 60-yard punt return for a touchdown from Jared Abbrederis and scoring on defense when Derek Landisch recovered a fumble in the end zone in the fourth quarter.

Heisman hopeful Wilson finished with 233 yards passing, rushing and receiving combined despite being without top receiver Nick Toon due to a foot injury. The highlight of the first half was when Ball surprised the Indiana defense by dropping back to pass and hitting a wide-open Wilson on the left side for a 25-yard touchdown.

Stephen Houston rushed for 135 yards and a touchdown for Indiana (1-6, 0-3), which has dropped four straight.
