Recap: Central Florida 30, Boston College 3

Central Florida broke open a close game with three touchdowns in the fourth quarter as the host Knights used a balanced offense and dominating defense to pull away from Boston College 30-3 on Saturday.

Quarterback Jeff Godfrey rushed for a pair of touchdowns in the fourth quarter as Central Florida is off to its first 2-0 start since 1998 and has outscored opponents 92-3 this season.

Nick Cattoi kicked three field goals in the first half as Central Florida took a 9-3 lead. Godfrey scored on runs of 1 and 4 yards, sandwiched around a 1-yard TD run by Latavius Murray as the Knights pulled away.

Godfrey, who rushed for three touchdowns last week, completed 20-of-25 passes for 187 yards, and added 69 yards rushing.

Central Florida's defense limited the Eagles (0-2) to 141 yards of offense and forced two turnovers.
