Stevan Ridley scored on a 7-yard touchdown run with 30 seconds left as No. 6 LSU came from behind to beat Ole Miss 43-36 on Saturday in Baton Rouge, La.

The teams exchanged the lead six times in the second half in a wild back-and-forth SEC thriller in Death Valley.

Mississippi (4-7, 1-6 SEC) took a one-point lead on Jeremiah Masoli's 65-yard touchdown pass to Markeith Summers with five minutes to play.

LSU (10-1, 6-1) answered with an eight-play scoring drive that Ridley capped with his second touchdown run of the game.

Mississippi rushed for 236 yards against LSU's normally stingy defense. Brandon Bolden led the Rebels with 91 yards and two touchdowns. Masoli also had two rushing touchdowns.

The loss cost the Rebels a chance at becoming bowl eligible when they close the season against Mississippi State next week.

Ridley led the Tigers with 91 yards and three touchdowns as LSU won its sixth game by seven or fewer points. The Tigers finish the season against Arkansas, needing a win to have a chance at an at-large BCS bowl invite.
