SACRAMENTO, Calif. -- DeMar DeRozan scored 23 points and led a late third-quarter spurt that lifted the Toronto Raptors to a 102-87 victory over the Sacramento Kings at the Golden 1 Center on Sunday afternoon.

Serge Ibaka added 17 points, and Kyle Lowry had 12 points and 12 rebounds for Toronto (17-7), which won its sixth in a row and stayed unbeaten halfway through a four-game road trip. The Raptors also ended a four-game skid against the Kings, beating them for the first time since January 2015.

Zach Randolph scored 19 points to pace the Kings (8-18), but Sacramento lost its third straight home game in a rare matinee. The tip-off was at 12:30 p.m. PT, and the Kings seemed to be affected, allowing the game's first 10 points and falling behind 13-2 in the opening period.

Buddy Hield added 17 points off the bench for Sacramento, and the Kings' reserves outscored Toronto's 41-28 in a matchup of two of the best reserve units in the NBA.

Toronto closed out the third quarter on a 12-3 run after Kings guard Bogdan Bodganovic nailed a 3-pointer to close the Raptors' lead to 67-64 with 4:35 to go in the third quarter. DeRozan scored seven points during the stretch. The Raptors took a 12-point lead into the final quarter, and the Kings got no closer than seven the rest of the way.

DeRozan went over the 12,000-point milestone for his career, joining Dirk Nowitzki (Dallas), Tony Parker (San Antonio), Manu Ginobili (San Antonio), Russell Westbrook (Oklahoma City) and Stephen Curry (Golden State) as the only players to surpass that mark while playing for one team.

Sacramento rookie De'Aaron Fox struggled through one of the worst games of his inaugural season. Fox did not score until the fourth quarter and finished with six points in 23 minutes. He also committed six turnovers.

The tip-off marked the earliest start for Sacramento since Feb. 1, 2009.

JaKarr Sampson contributed 11 points off the bench for the Kings.

NOTES: Kings PG George Hill was on the Sacramento's inactive list because of personal reasons, the team said. ... Kings C Willie Cauley-Stein missed his third straight game with a strained lower back. The Kings have not said whether Cauley-Stein will be back for Tuesday's home game against Phoenix. ... F Skal Labissiere, G Justin Jackson and G Malachi Richardson were recalled from the Reno Bighorns of the D-League before the game by Sacramento. Labissiere made his 11th start of the season, while Jackson played 33 minutes and scored three points. Richardson did not get off the bench. ... Toronto coach Dwane Casey coached his 700th game for the Raptors. His 278 victories as a coach also are a franchise-best.
