Gary Sanchez hit a long two-run homer, Gleyber Torres also hit a two-run homer and the visiting New York Yankees posted an 11-5 victory over the San Francisco Giants to complete a three-game sweep on Sunday afternoon.

Sanchez hit his second homer since returning from a calf injury -- and eighth overall -- in the sixth. After hitting a 467-foot grand slam Saturday, Sanchez put the Yankees up 8-0 when he hit a 1-0 fastball off Nick Vincent into the last row of the left field bleachers Sunday.

Sanchez's 430-foot blast helped the Yankees improve to 6-1 on their nine-game trip and win for the 11th time in 13 games.

New York's latest win was also marred by two more injuries. Second baseman DJ LeMahieu exited in the third due to right knee inflammation, and third baseman Gio Urshela exited two innings later when he was hit by a pitch on his left hand.

Torres hit a two-run homer into the first row of the left-center field seats when he connected off San Francisco starter Dereck Rodriguez (3-3) in the third.

Luke Voit had three hits, including a two-run single in the second to put the Yankees up 4-0 moments after a throwing error by San Francisco catcher Erik Kratz on a pickoff attempt. Voit also extended his on-base streak to 39 games.

The Yankees tacked on three runs in the ninth on a base hit by Cameron Maybin and a two-run single by Tyler Wade.

The Yankees loaded the bases in the first and took a 2-0 lead when shortstop Brandon Crawford booted Sanchez's potential double-play grounder and Voit scored on Torres' double-play grounder.

New York's Domingo German (5-1) gave up four runs on five hits in six innings and joined Seattle's Marco Gonzales and Tampa Bay's Tyler Glasnow as the third five-game winner in the majors. He struck out four and walked one.

German took a shutout into the sixth but lost it when Joe Panik singled in Tyler Austin. The Giants added three more runs on a double by Pablo Sandoval and a two-run single by Kevin Pillar.

Pillar also homered to lead off the ninth.

Rodriguez lasted three-plus innings and gave up six runs (four earned) and seven hits. He struck out three and walked four, and exited after surrendering consecutive singles to start the fourth.
