Xander Bogaerts and Andrew Benintendi each hit three-run homers, and the Boston Red Sox rallied from an early five-run deficit to defeat the Baltimore Orioles 19-12 at Oriole Park on Friday night.

The Bogaerts homer gave Boston a 3-0 lead in the first against Dylan Bundy. Benintendi hit a three-run blast off Donnie Hart in the seventh to put Boston in front 14-10.

Bogaerts drove in four runs while Benintendi knocked in three in a game that lasted 4 hours, 1 minute.

Brock Holt (three RBIs) hit a solo homer in the sixth and later added a two-run single in the same frame, driving in three runs during that six-run inning which put the Red Sox in front for good. Mookie Betts also knocked in three runs.

The Red Sox improved to 11-2 versus the Orioles this season. Drew Pomeranz (2-5) earned the win with an inning of scoreless relief, the first time he's come out of the bullpen in 2018.

Both starters finished with a no-decision. Bundy allowed two more homers -- he's given up 29 this season -- and surrendered eight runs (seven earned) on eight hits in five-plus innings.

Boston starter Nathan Eovaldi threw 15 shutout innings while winning his first two starts with the Red Sox. On this night, though, he allowed eight runs (four earned) on 10 hits in just 2 2/3 innings.

The Orioles used back-to-back four-run frames in the second and third for an 8-3 lead. Chris Davis hit a solo homer, and Cedric Mullins lined an RBI double to right in his first major league at-bat. Adam Jones -- who moved to right field to make way for Mullins in center -- put Baltimore in front 4-3 with a two-run single.

In the third, Baltimore got a run on an error before Mullins (3-for-4, two RBIs) made it 6-3 with a bad-hop single. Jonathan Villar brought in a run with a sacrifice bunt, and Tim Beckham added an RBI single.

Boston then turned things around with that big sixth, capped by the three Holt RBIs. Beckham homered as part of a two-run bottom half that made it 11-10. But Benintendi belted his three-run shot in the seventh, and Betts (three-run double) and J.D. Martinez (two-run single) helped later in the game.

Miguel Castro (2-7) took the loss for the Orioles, who also got a Mark Trumbo solo shot.
