Maikel Franco hit a two-out, three-run walk-off home run to lift the host Philadelphia Phillies past the Miami Marlins 5-2 at Citizens Bank Park on Thursday night.

Rhys Hoskins also homered as the Phillies won for the first time this season when trailing after eight innings. They scored four times in the ninth to remain in first place in the National League East, a half-game ahead of the Atlanta Braves.

Phillies starter Nick Pivetta tossed six solid innings, giving up four hits and two runs while striking out seven and not walking a batter. Tommy Hunter (3-1) earned the win with a scoreless inning of relief in the top of the ninth.

Justin Bour homered for the Marlins.

Marlins starter Pablo Lopez threw six strong innings with five hits and only one run given up. Lopez struck out five, did not issue a walk and threw 60 of his 87 pitches for strikes.

Kyle Barraclough (0-5) took the loss and suffered his sixth blown save of the season after allowing the homer to Franco.

Bour snapped a scoreless game with a two-run homer in the fourth to right field for. It was his 17th home run of the season.

In the bottom of the sixth, the Phillies sliced the lead in half when Hoskins blasted his 22nd homer to left.

Phillies reliever Austin Davis was terrific in his two innings as he retired all six Miami batters he faced.

Miami called on right-handed reliever Drew Steckenrider to pitch the eighth and he struck out Jorge Alfaro to open the inning. Andrew Knapp came in to pinch hit for Davis and struck out, as well. Cesar Hernandez then flied out for the fourth time in the game.

Derek Dietrich led off the ninth for the Marlins with a single to center but they weren't able to extend their one-run lead.

Hoskins worked a leadoff walk in the ninth and was replaced by Scott Kingery as a pinch runner. Odubel Herrera popped up to second and Carlos Santana followed with an infield single. Asdrubal Cabrera then walked to load the bases. Nick Williams grounded out to plate Kingery and tie the score at 2-2 before Franco hit his 18th homer.
