Really.
Want to detail which of his views espouse those positions? Are you sure he had no alignment with your right wing fringe?

Look at his video. He was anti-federal reserve gold-standard type. Hardcore tea party. A lot of tea partiers are anti-god too. He is a subsegment of the tea party. Not the Palin wing.

here is what i dont get, why is everyone in a hurry, or need, to classify this person on the political spectrum.
oh, he wants the gold standard, that means he MUST be a tea partier. man, all this time i was completely unaware that the tea party was just about monetary policy. give me a break. heres a quick test, google tea party monetary policy, and you get 300k results, google tea party small government and you get 6.5mil results.
is it just possible that the guy was a lunatic? one who hated all government, and he would have shot a R if thats who his rep was?

Actually, we'll never know who this guy is because they (the media) will now attempt to create a profile of someone, an understanding of who someone, by focusing on something he wouldn't ordinarily do (unless he is completely nuts). I feel sorry for the victims first, but a couple of years ago, after the Virginia Tech murders, I realized that the parents of the shooter (in these types of crimes) must watch TV and see the news attempt to piece together the identity of their child based on a completely irrational act. The parents must go slightly insane telling themselves, "but that's now our son Johhny! That's not him at all!"
In my own life, I don't believe I am the person who's done "horrible things." That's the person that I'm not. If that was the person I was, I wouldn't recognized them as "horrible things". I would be completely unconscious and insane. Very, very few people are this far gone.
So, as the news and our imaginations construct a representation of this person to help us understand what he did, don't confuse that representation from the real person.

just trying to keep some sort of balance in the lambasting of the Rs for something they had nothing more to do with than the Ds.
can i take it you think this guy was acting out on R principles?
You can take it I think the guy was acting out of insanity principles. There is a reason insanity starts with an 'i' and has neither a 'D' or "R.' It doesn't embody partisan ideology.
Just like the 9/11 hijackers were acting more out of pyschosis than Muslim thought. Partisan and ideological thoughts become the excuse, not the basis for the actions.

i was also pointing out the glaring inconsistencies with the shooter is a R misbelief.
and what are you smoking about 9/11. FACT, there has been a long history of muslims enacting, or trying to enact, terrorism against the west. FACT, the muslim world did not condemn the attacks, in fact, many places celebrated them. if you truly believe 9/11 was carried out by psychotics, how do you explain the other successful and attempted attacks? how do you explain the lack of condemnation from the muslim world? how do you explain lots of places celebrating? its either you think there are an extremely high rate of psychotics in the muslim world, or you think there is a pattern.

You pointed out nothing outside of your usual right wing partisan drivel.
Mass murderers almost uniformly suffer from a type of psychosis.
The Muslim 'world', as you state, DID uniformly condemn the attacks. Simply because you saw TV images of Palestinian children dancing in the streets following the attack does not a universal celebration make.
9-11 was planned by another psychotic, OBL. However, those that actually carry out such plans tend to have higher levels of pesonality disorders. I imagine it is based on the actual ability to take a life, or multiple ones.

Your comment was that the Muslim world did not condemn the attacks and many places celebrated. As usual, it is unsupported by any evidence and actually is contradicted by evidence. Here is one very minor example.
You are confusing hatred with a decision to commit mass murder. They are mutually exclusive.
As for the "Bush's fault" comment, it wasn't suggested nor even raised. Someone is is self-professed to be smarter than 98% of the population surely can come up with something better than that.

dj, the bush comment was a joke bc everything that has happened since 08 was bushs fault. have you guys already forgotten that since now everything is palins fault?
why did you strongly insinuate i said the attacks were universally celebrated when i clearly did not say that? why cant you just address what is said instead of trying to distort things to fit your perception of the world?

Please link to where I suggested this was Bush's fault. Please link to where I said this is Palin's fault. Do you have any idea on my thoughts on Bush II or his father for that matter or are you just typing to hear yourself talk?
This was your statement:
"FACT, the muslim world did not condemn the attacks, in fact, many places celebrated them."
It was wrong. You can run along now. Probably a bad idea to debate with that 2%.
