Well I know the match is about 9 hours away but what is everyone thinking on this one. I was suckered in by Nadal and took Tsonga today and of course Nadal hurt my pockets. From what I see Djoker has a 5 - 3 record on hard courts against Nadal but I didn't really like his attitude in todays match against Soderling. I'm thinking Nadal at plus money for a small wager. Inputs please!

I think Nadal already accomplished what he wanted to today...getting his countryman into the year end finals......Nadal should have lost at least twice already in this tourney.....I'm on the Joker in this one...GL

djokovic is the favorite here but yesterday's match against tsonga, why nadal was priced that high i saw +145 before i went to sleep now we see only +122 Djoko is way better than jwtsonga

1. Djokovic should be tired from all the weeks he has been playing.
2. Djokavic the past two weeks has been winning as ugly as Nadal so he is not in peak form.
3. Djoker is due for a mental letdown in a game and Nadal is just the type of player to expose him.
4. Nadal just played his best HC match of the year by far. If anyone can suddenly find great form in the middle of a tournament it is him.
5. Joker blasted him in Cincy but that surface was lightning fast. This surface is about as slow as a HC can get. Guys cannot hit through anyone with decent defense. Look at how frustrated Verdasco got vs Murray, who retrieved all his power shots with assistance from this surface. Look how good the natural claycourters from Nadal to Monfils to the two who troubled Nadal have looked on this surface compared to more natural hard courters. I think the surface gives Nadal a much bigger edge than he had at Cincy where the surface was tailor made for Djoker's strengths.
6. Nadal gets very angry when made the dog and usually wins. See: vs Fed at AO final, yesterday vs Tsonga... I am pretty sure his previous HC losses this year where ones where he was actually favored by a slight margin.
I think this might be like Rome all over again. A super tight match where in the end Nadal wills his way ahead of Djokavic at the very final stages. Should be an awesome match. I will put a few units on Nadal at dog odds here. Even in Cincy the second set was competitive so on this far slower surface I think it is there for the taking.

didnt say djoker was bad on clay i mentioned rome so i obviously know he was was one of the top three clay courters this season. I specifically said the surface being slower would pssibly nullify the edge he obviously had on the super fast Cincy courts. Not all HC surfaces are created equal. Just thought Nadal was going to play same as yesterday... but whatever, Nadal is impossible for me to predict this week. This one looks absolutely over.

damn this is a horror show beatdown! was way way off. My initial lean was Djoker for the same reasons I liked Tsonga but I basically talked myself out of it.

honestly all this does is makes me homicidally angry that Tsonga could not do the same yesterday. I think if Tsonga converts some of his many early break chances that match could have looked similar. it is all so insane to me.

Djokovic is way way wayyyy better than Tsonga and right now better than any other player not named Roger Federer...he is in great form and he is playing some phenomenal tennis right now. Im amazaed how Joker became so all-round player
