Debate i was having with a friend:  which game has more worldwide viewers, todays Barca/Madrid game or the Superbowl?

i'm pretty sure its the classico ... usually they are watched by over 200 millino people while the superbowl is around 150 i believe..

it doesn't matter really since half the people watching the superbowl couldn't give a shit about football but just watch to see the commericals and halftime show.. and to be a part of the group

Isn't El Clasico just any match between Barca and Madrid?  How can that possibly be watched by more people? There's at least 4 Barca/Madrid matches a year, right?

It is just a match between Barca and Real but I think you are underestimating how deeply this match resonates around the world... Many many many people care far more about a Classico than will ever care about the Super Bowl

Heck, even a league game between Liverpool and Man United back in October was watched by an estimated 500 million.
