I've never seen a draw at such low odds before. -105? Does anyone know why the draw odds are so low? Both teams are in the middle of Serie A - safe from relegation but no shot at Europe competition next year. Why on Earth would a draw be MORE likely than just either team winning?

Thanks. Here's the part I don't understand. If one team scores so it's 1-0, why is it so likely that the other team will score and make it 1-1? Isn't it just as likely that the first team scores to make it 2-0?
If the o/u were 0.5 then I could understand why the draw is so low -- no one scores. But the o/u is 2. So bookies expect each side to score a goal.

In Italy it's tradition to organise draws or to play with less intensity when there's nothing to play for. The organising of draws is so that both teams don't lose the league position they are in obviously because you get a certain league bonus for your positions and if the teams organise a draw they both make a profit for the game instead of one side gaining the win bonus and the other team making a deficit with players wages and not gaining the win bonus. You could argue these sort of situations happen in most countries even in the Premier League i.e. last week between QPR and Reading but in Italy they do it more openly hence the bookmakers making the draw favourite and then if someone bothers to win the game they don't get killed on the draw and by openly I mean Italian teams taking less training during the week and less prep work which clearly signals they don't see much point for victory.
