To help out their country, financially, they would be willing to take any benefit for each match. Taken how corrupt the country is, I would not be surprise.

The nation of greece, only lives for ONE thing.  They have love for ONE thing.  And that is soccer.  they are an honest team with an honest background, and NO WAY in hell, would they throw this game.  If anything, IF they advanced, they would get more recognition, than if they purposely lost.  so they wouldn;t gain anything if they threw the match away

What does being European have to do with the price of rice in China? Does just being from Europe qualify all of you as corruption experts? Like the US doesnt have corruption...Give me a break here. This isnt Greek lower league here, mate.

 

As Balboa said in the above post; the last thing the Greek nation would need is negative press from game fixing in a huge Euro fixture on ESPN. These guys are playing for their COUNTRY and PRIDE.

 Im sure they are going to just risk their whole careers on fixing this match becuase YOU put 50 Euros and a Tulip farm on Greece +0.50.

I wasn't asking for shit - I'm good at what i do..  if anything i was getting his thoughts and after all i went with my pick...

For the record, there was a huge match fixing scandal in Greece last June... Not saying this is fixed but The Greeks surely are not immune to corruption

When you have a country where the seat of presidency can be bought, then there is no such thing as pride of the country or nation anymore. The EU really wanted to kick this country out. But, we can't because if so, they won't be able to pay back all the bail-out. If we keep them, we will continue bailing them out. This country is just a complete shamble. Why do I have to pay higher taxes so the EU could bail this country out?
