wow!!...that is not the way rule says you are suppose to do the drop......you are suppose to drop as close to the divot as possible and after a couple of drops if they go closer to the hole you place the ball in a spot...your interpretation of how and why he dropped a few feet back is ABSURD and ridiculous!...the way you describe the drop is not the way the rule says to do the drop!!!!!..and he did it knowingly!!

Why Chamblee/Rosenfort/Faldo are morons is the fact that nobody is bringing up the stupidity of the Rules Committee. How could they rule that the drop was good? It was clearly two yards behind the divot. I had no idea going on because nobody on the broadcast even knew if it was a yellow line hazard or a red line.

If the drop was deemed CORRECT when he signed...then DQ was off the table. The rules committee can't claim the drop correct, then retract and DQ Tiger. They fucked themselves by not ruling correctly to begin with...and Tiger is well within his right to continue playing.
On a side note, with all these fuckin stupid rules golf has...they should put in a new one... "Rule 100.0.1 - I just got fucked by the pin...I will drop where I want"

You have obviously never played competitive golf if you dont think that was near where you hit your last shot. I have had to walk back 250 yards to re-hit. Who knows how close I was to where I originally hit it but I was in proximity but it is all about INTENT. Thats why I have said that was my issue.
