Anybody see a winning score number posted yet?

These guys are going to kill this course under what is now guaranteed to be very soggy conditions. If they can land the ball softly in the fairway this track is very short and scores will be very low. Can't wait to see a line on winning score...UNDER whatever it is.

Graeme McDowell guessed -8 could be the winning score. I want to pound the UNDER. Lift, Clean, and Place likely in play...

Par for 72 is 280. 275 or higher and I'm hitting it hard.

I was thinking -7 at worst. -9.5 is low and something to think about. A possible pass.

i am looking for a cut score i think the course will be a bit tougher with the sun out on the weekend

271 and UNDER +120 (271 is a win) +120 risking $300. This course is going to get killed. -12 is the winning score IMO.


Also played Stricker +188 in 3-Ball v Mickelson/Bradley

Not looking to good but half the field is yet to tee off. All I need is one guy to tear it up. Have Weir 1st Round Leader at 250-1 for $5. LOL

I heard Phil just say that something close to par would probably win.  

Golf course is only going to get tougher.

not sure what u mean, forecasters predicted rain/t-storms in the 1st rd

They talked about potential flooding, golf ball sized hail, 60 mph winds, and tornadoes as well.  It wasn't even close to as bad as they were talking about.  The way they were talking, I was wondering if they would get any golf at all in yesterday.

The course isn't playing that difficult. I'm a scratch golfer, so If I was playing Merion, I would've shot high 60's for both rounds, maybe 68,69. That would put me at -3, which would put me in the lead.

lol at steven you wouldn't shoot below a hundred loser, I shoot between 71-75 and I have played a us open course right after open played torrey pines and played the same length they did I hit the ball very well and shot a 99
