I think that this game goes over the total, as Toronto will have to put up some points to hang close. The line was just a hair too high and the games went under and now it's just a hair low and the game will go over. Toronto will give an all out performance, and Orlando will play with the anticipation of getting their series win.

i have been undefeated on the totals for this series as it has gone over twice in orlando.....and under twice in toronto.....and im going along with styles on the over becuz when i look at both teams ...orlando is obviously more talented, yet toronto has better defense....here's the big difference.....toronto is like night/day when they're home and away....for instance it was under twice in toronto becuz they only give up 98pts at hme on defense...compared to 104pts onna road...on offense toronto averages 102pts at home, compared to just 98pts onna road.....thats the big difference, whereas orlando's stats are pretty much similar home/away.....THIS GAME WILL GO OVER FOR THE GAME AS WELL AS THE FIRST HALF.......
As far as the spread i have to go with orlando mainly becuz of the changes VANGUNDY made with R.LEWIS....if u notice the first three games LEWIS disappeared down the stretch becuz he was tired from guarding BOSH....the results (GAME 1)13pts......(GAME 2)18PTS....(GAME 3) 19PTS......but in GAME 4 Lewis cut up down the stretch and ended with 27pts becuz he had more energy from not having to check/guard BOSH at all ....i look for more of the same with Lewis at home.....plus the crowd will be so hype that Toronto will choke the last 3 minutes of the 4th qt. if they are not winning....the crowd will raise orlando's level up becuz they can see the finish line....which they havent seen since SHAQ was a magic......ORLANDO-OVER

The over is a good call on this game. I am just a little bit annoyed about this line talk that has led us astray lately. First, someone swore that Den was going to win because of half point line change. day later the same person was sold out on Dal at -5 for the same reason. I admire those who Study the game. I am inclined to think that the person with this awesome line change bullshit actually works for the bookies to throw us all off.

Not to offend or defend people here, but no one told you to follow that persons pick, This site and forum is just what their opinion is. BE a gambler and choose your own picks, so you have no one to blame when you lose, and you cheer yourself when you win, I never rely on someone pick. If you want use a coin like in that movie, 2 for the money.... For me I go with stats.... Everyone is going Over, Im picking under just because of what the stats are.... also TOR, +7.5 Im thinking, Orl up 10, and Tor will make last shot that is 3( by moon) and it goes in.. and win the spread.... Plus orl isnt good ats at home, like in reg season. They win most of it on the road.

Guess I shouldn't blame Styles for the New Orleans - Dallas loss....was all set to go with New Orleans, then was glad to see her agree, but, when she flip flipped to Dallas, I shouldn't have followed her lead.....am going to stop reading these threads since they turn you inside out......

that person is hitting her games at a 80% clip. No on is perfect, not even you. You will agree that despite all of your perfect research that you have taken some losses too right? Maybe we'reall not as good as you. But I'll be damned if you didn't mention that that person won the other two games including the halftime calls as well. If you're going to tear down a person also give the person credit at times too. that way you build up a healthy relationship. I majored in Sociology, and you are not being a nice person. You are saying the same thing that you have already said like twice. We are not remedial. We get the picture. drifter44 doesn't like my research methods. You don't have to kep saying it. Move on, please. Matter of fact, while we're on the subject that you keep bringing up:
Since your research is so flawless, why don't you share your methods with all of us so that we can scrutinize your ways when you lose too, just to make things fair, gabeesh?
For you to insinuate that I am here to help the books is insane. i am winning at an 80% clip. Please explain how that is helping the books, and hurting people on the thread that are tailing my picks. I lost only two games ALL weekend (Denver an Dallas) and now I'm an agent for the sportsbooks? Do you know how you sound right now?
No one is 100% at handicapping, not even you
BTW, Good luck you on your call for this game, which you failed to state. Once again, I like the over 203.

I believe the forum is for us to share our research, info, and opinion on the game/players. Everyone has a freedom to choose which piece of the given information to use for his/her own pick on the game. Let's not blame on anyone else for our own decision. If any of us feel that reading the posts will influence your decision one way or another, then maybe you should not be reading the forum posts anymore. Personally, I like reading the posts/analysis here. There are humors, and valuable information inside these posts. Thank you all. Just my 2cents...

"I majored in Sociology, and you are not being a nice person." Another person putting a major to good use!! Much like all the other regulars in here, I am all about the OVER in this game. Game 4 saw Rashard Lewis go for 27 and 13, Dwight Howard almost had a triple-double with 8 blocks, the Magic just absolutely dominated from start to finish, and have proven throughout this series that they are just a better overall team. They also know that the Detroit/Philly series might just end up going 7 games, and is going at least until the end of the week. They are going to play this game as if it were Game 7.
The Raptors on the other hand need to play this game and the next couple games with that same attitude. All these guys we heard about during the regular season (Jamario Moon, Calderon, etc.) have been non-existent in the playoffs. What does a team do when their backs are against the wall? They don't take their time and milk the clock, they get out and run and try and get layups.
This game should be a fast-paced, up and down matchup that is close until the end. If I had to pick a side I would take the Raptors, as I feel like this will be more like Game 2 of this series. However, the play in this game is OVER 203
(Yes I am aware that I put my entire bankroll on the Celtics game and therefore have no money for this game. This is simply my analysis of the game and who I would be betting on)

i am shadowing most of nightridah's O/U's and he lists the reasoning so
OVER 203 is my first play on this game.
only once has toronto actually covered a 1Q lead in this series and that was in game 3, the one they lost. I think they come out smelling blood and hoping to close this series and get rid of the bad thoughts about last year's early exit. They are the better team here and they like to come out firing. The series pattern has been orlando jumps to a lead and toronto scrapes to get back in it. Now, with the series in orlando, toronto will be be playing from behind hoping their defense can slow the magic down long enough for them to enough drop 3's to get into this game. i think that their 3 point shooting becomes more of a necessity on the road and that's another reason that total stays high in orlando. Another factor is that when Dwight Howard comes out fresh and rested, he is a much more difficult beast to contain. Toronto's only real hope of dealing with him is to hope he gets worn out late game so they can get some of those boards.
ORL -2 (1q)
