Spurs vs. Hornets -3 (2 units) - I still think the Spurs are getting old and it seems the Hornets are a cloned younger version of them.  As long as New Orleans can guard the pick and roll they should easily be able to win the series.  This should be an excellent series to watch with Paul vs. Parker (adv Paul), Duncan vs. Chandler (adv Duncan), Bowen vs. Peja (adv Peja) and that leaves Oberto or Kurt Thomas on Davis West (adv West).  Those are only assumptions but I clearly think the edge goes to the Hornets in this series, they also seem like the more determined team this year.

Only concern here is evaluating Hornets based on beating what in reality was a weak Mavs team.....Spurs won't be so easy to defend with so many more weapons....Mavs lacked the speed to guard Paul and Spurs match up much better......
 
Hornets still a child in the playoffs.....Spurs win a close one and over is likely.....

Come on dude.....you going to post that on every thread. Just learn a little capping for yourself.

I like the Spurs in this series but this game is difficult. You simply cannot deny the HUGE advantage the Spurs have in experience and smarts...why do you think they win so often.

Most of the time they are playing playoff teams with more talent...but the Spurs just keep winnning.

The Mavs suck. The Spurs do not. Parker is on fire and Paul will have to spend a lot of time defending. Who did Paul have to defend in the Mavs game.

Also, the Spurs are tough inside...the Mavs were pussies.

Riding with the BANKERS/vegas last night got me a modest 2-1 with the home teams.

Gona BANK with the BANK again and take the hometeams to cover due to the same theory: The public is loving the roadwarriors today but statistic shows that on this game, 90% of the money is riding on the spurs so i'll go opposite again. same for Det/Orl.

Putting a small amount on the Under of this game also.

the spurs/N.O. split games in the regular season....but the hornets are not playing the same team they played b4........this is where the spurs shine.....they are built for the playoffs....and if u have been paying attention...then u will see that this is the FIRST GAME that the SPURS have EVER been underdogs against the hornets......i have a feeling this will be the last game also.....N.O. will have to play the PERFECT GAME to win......the most logic pick would have to be SA-UNDER.......AND SA(ML).......
