Cleveland might rest some of the starters, but they're going to want to win.  Philly does not have much to play for either....

chance to finish with one loss at home on the season, even if they rest james and williams in the 2nd, if it gets close they will be back in the 4th to make sure of that 1 loss home record.  Cavs

is this a trap? why just 1 point? cavs at home? it does not make any sense! the are looking for the record and just 1 point?

If Philly wins and the Bulls lose, the Sixers wrap up the sixth seed and face the struggling Magic as opposed to the Celtics in the first round. 

Sounds like motivation to me and that explains the line.

On the other side the Cavs want to become the only team to go 40 -1 at home.

Hopefully that's enough incentive for the Cavs players and coaches to show up tonight and win what would otherwise be a meaningless game for them.

CLEVELAND -- Calling all reserves. The Cavaliers are going to need them.

Coach Mike Brown announced at shootaround this morning that LeBron James, Zydrunas Ilgauskas, Mo Williams, Joe Smith and Ben Wallace will sit out tonight regular season finale at Quicken Loans Arena against the Philadelphia 76ers, in order to rest before the start of this weekend's playoffs.

Lorenzen Wright and Jawad Williams will be activated for tonight's game.

The Cavs are playing for the chance to tie the all-time NBA record of 40 home wins in a season. They are 39-1 at the Q entering tonight's game.

It's an important game for Philadelphia. A Sixers win and a loss by the Chicago Bulls (they host Toronto tonight) would give the Sixers No. 6 seed in the playoffs.

Agreed, like stated above Big Z, LJ, Ben Wallace, and Mo Williams are resting today. If CLE wants to get the best home record they will have to do without their top players. I would love to see it happen but it will be very tough. Safe bet tonight is the OVER!

I'm guessing since the Cavs are gonna be playing cheerleaders tonight that everybody and everybody elses cousin will be loading up on the 6ers since "they have more to play for". O well who knows this game will be like pissing in the wind still with Cav reserves finally being able to just play at home for the first time all year maybe they show up who knows-- CLE +1.5

I dont know about this one. I live in cleveland and I usually only play the cavs but they are not playing no one. Le Bron clearly said its all about the championship the 40/1 record would be nice but have you seen their bench players before they stink.
No LB and no MO that scares me
Might go with the over.

I know I should have left this one alone because now I have to root against my boys. I bit the bullet and took phi -1 1/2 I feel like I cheated on the ol lady but I like money
small wager just to make it interesting. I will save my bank roll for the playoffs.

Hey guys, I didn't know the Cavs were going to sit EVERYONE tonight when I posted very early in the morning. Thought the home record was worth while. Our bench (after just a couple) does indeed suck and see reason to play the Cavs with a motivated 6'ers squad.  I think under here.

Cavs +3? Hmmmmm. This is a trap! I personally am leaving this one alone (better value you in other games like Boston and SA) BUT...... I believe the Cavs still win at home for the fans, for the coach, and to spite the Celtics tying their record of 40-1 home wins in a regular season.
