Weren't you the one raggin on me in the Pistons/Sixers thread?  I can't believe how many people on here were chasing money. 

If only the NBA would play a 162 game schedule like baseball.

I think the Mavs needs a new coach. Avery Johnson took out the starters around the 2:40 minutes mark while down by only 16!!! What is the point of this? If they don't fight to the last minute to try to win the game to get even at 2-2, then what is the chance of DAL winning the next game in NO? Well, I guess you guy figured it out that I picked Over in the 2nd half.....DAL sucks!!!

Sunbeam, the Spurs did the same thing against the Suns, and a whole hell of a lot sooner.  I guess teams think that leaving their starters in there and letting them bust their ass and risk injury and blah blah blah isn't worth the 2% chance they might have of coming back and winning the game.  It's a damn shame because the way I was raised is that you fight your ass off to try and get the win until the final whistle blows.  I lost a lot of respect for the Spurs in that game, and not just because I had the OVER in the 2nd half.  They had a lineup on the floor barely into the 4th quarter who had 9 points total in the game.  That says to me, "we don't care, just take the game", and that is just one of the many things that is wrong with the NBA....or as Bill Simmons calls it, the NO BALLS ASSOCIATION

CMJ, great point and more reasons why NBA "capping," if that is what you want to call it, is farcical and impossible to judge correctly.

Better off watching line movement than looking at team stats and betting based on that and that alone.

Styles, you over-thought yourself!  Sharp goes into the GN, puts down a bet at 3:30, line goes from +5.5 to +4 = HORNETS IS THE PLAY.  Then, reduced juice on Dallas, as you said, which allows the sharps to get Dallas at a big value.  Since when does Vegas want the sharps to bust their balls by allowing them to get big value?  Vegas wanted them on Dallas so they left it at -4.

You are very good at basketball, but over-thought yourself here.

Good luck in the upcoming college football season.  Late-night HT lines are SOFT AS CHEESE and the best wagering opportunities in all of American sports.  Nothing else is as big a money-maker as late-night college football HT lines.
