how does this system work?
Don't trip Robem215
I post everyday, but I notice that when i don't post on several game threads with my trademark
, I always lose one or two of those bars too. I don't think that it necessarily has to do with your success. If it did, I would have bars all the way across the meter. I can't remember the last time i had a bad week were I didn't win big.
The only time that I can remember was when I came back from vacation at the end of December. I came back a little cold and had the only losing week of the entire season. At any rate, I usually win 3 times as many games as I lose in a week span.
I lost a bar this week even though I am 5-2.
I have averaged 14 wins compared to 4 losses each and every week. Guys like goinggone (no disrespect gg, just truth) and pronk are on more thread pages (some college and NHL which I don't play), so naturally they end up with more performance bars than me, but believe me their record is no where near mine when it comes to actual wins versus losses (winning %) in the NBA. I am the undisputed in winning %. I have never lost a challenge of any kind by any taker.
With that in mind, I have absolutely no idea as to what the criteria is to gaining or losing the bars other than frequency of posts. All that I know is that it is not an accurate depiction of how good or bad you are at what you do.
The only real thing is the actual money you end up with at the end of each and every week. That is what you should use as your measuring stick, not acknowledgement from Mr. Covers.
The so-called experts that represent his interests are no where near as good as I am at consistently picking winners. I was an outlaw and a minority at picking games and buying points. Now it is no longer taboo to buy points in the threads. And actually it is the norm now. Which is pleasing because I think that it necessary to create your own spreads as opposed to accepting the offerings of the linemakers which makes it hard to even win at a 60% clip even if you do know what you're doing.
Robem215, just get the money, and stop worrying about the recognition from the covers staff. At the end of the day only your bank account will tell you what you can and can't do anyway! Good luck!
So take it as a grain of salt
