Y'all are setting yourselves up for heartbreak w/ that statistic. It doesn't even need my repeating it, for y'all to know which one I'm talking about.
Vegas knows that is a key number which bettors will focus on. This game is practically in the bag. Orlando is going to win by 3 pts minimum. It will probably be twice that number.
Tonight will be the night. All those people that put their money on LAK to win this championship series, are going to be forced to question their quest for that supposed "easy money".

This is a reckless way to handicap a game: carve out one statistic from a game, ignoring all else; obsess over it; flip it; and predict the outcome of a future game based on it.
Incidently, Orlando shot only 41% from the floor in game 2 and the game was tied at the end of regulation. Where does that leave you?
Thank you for pointing out the faulty logic.

There are actually a few other reasons to like the Lakers tonight.

I think the reason Dwight Howard is not having a very good series is that the Laker front line is keeping him in check and as much as they may want to get him going, it's not gonna' get any easier, especially if the Lakers put for any effort on defense tonight, which they really didn't do in game 3 at all.
"The Lakers have no D" is a huge generalization and the truth is the Lakers actually have a number of guys who can play very good defense (you don't get 12 blocks against the Denver Nuggets by having no D), but they've had a tendency to slack off on that end this season when their offense is clicking.
I don't think you're gonna see them slacking tonight. They've responded to playoff losses by going 6-0 this year, and after the way game 3 ended, you've got to imagine Kobe Bryant can't wait to get back out there and rectify.
Very good points. It may not get easier for Dwight but i think he'll start finishing up in the post and get some 3 pt plays in. I don't think LA will allow that many open 3's tonight, so that should create some room for superman.
The 6-0 trend does scare me though. I'm hoping the refs do their "job" tonight and give orlando a big win. Kobe's definitely going to be fired up, but doesn't mean he'll win the game himself.
Both teams need this win badly. Magic's at home. I'll give them the edge even though LA may be better team. over/under?? who knows.

If the Lakers actually try and play defense tonight, if both teams play a little more cautiously, and if LA goes into the post more on offense, I think the under is the play, but I, like you, don't have a heavy lean.
Orlando is still going to get open looks - still knock down some shots.
I just think if LA is able to impose their will on this game, it goes under.

Magic breaks record for FG % and still wins by only 4. Obvious bet for LA to win next game. NO WAY in hell will orlando shoot like that again and Kobe miss FT's like that. Way TOO obvious to put my money on it though. i'm probably overthinking it, but oh well. it's just money. blue and white ignite!!

I love LA, but I love my money more... The smart bet is on ORLANDO -1.5 at home. Almost 70% of all the betting action on Game 4 is coming in on the Lakers. ORLANDO wins tonight in confidence... BUT then will lose the next two games...
Over is 6-0 in the last 6 meetings in Orlando.
ORLANDO and OVER BIG MONEY!!!!

Well the little girl with pipes of gold sang the national anthem, so the fix is in, Orlando wins the game. There goes my Lakers moneyline, Orlando is 7-0 when she sings. =( Damn you marketers get her on American Idle and off my ML bets!!!!
