Did the format change for the final to 2-3-2? Lakers have to feel good about stealing one of the first two games in Boston and then going home for the next three.

Juice for Lakers to win the series has already increased on my book to -175.

I like the under for the first game as well as under 49 1st Quarter.

and not meaning to hate ever wang... just trying to wake some people up... what i see is "sheep" (herd mentality) thinking in this room... we can talk about these public percentages, but i think it's just as important to know how the public thinks by and large...

the herd mentality had people all over Detroit in that series, and it is what keeps people from anticipating the kind of game 6 maturation process that you are suggesting happened to Boston... betting is about anticipating changes before they happen... otherwise you are always behind the 8-ball...

bet what you want... i'm only trying to help... and for all the reactions i get for telling people to pull their heads out of their asses, if they would just listen they would be winning more money...

point is... i already see the same "sheep" thinking going on about this series... if you are thinking like everyone else, you are probably wrong... so beware...

Boston's Defense is not good enough for the Lakers fast paced Offense. They will not be able to slow Kobe down nor stop him. I just wonder how many games Boston will be able to win in this series. They've go to win at least a few. Just which ones?

Lost one game and it was the underachieving rasheed wallace attitude detroit chokes.This lakers team got the same attitude of its top player.We all know who that is,thats why when they get behind by 20 to 17 pts,they still can win.The lakers are gonna still the first game.#1 Phil Jackson vs Doc( never had so much presure)Rivers,#2 There is no pressure on the Lakers.....they are not suppose to be here#Can they stop Koby....hell no! #3 Overall big game and prime time experience....none.The Lakers got odom,fish and koby.Celtics got Posey and ET (Sam Cassel).Smart money Lakers money line.Trust me.

now that we have pau Gasol, lakers has advantages all over...especially on offense...(huge lift for rebounds as well)

only thing concerns me is the rebound...

out rebounding the oppenent has been the key for Boston to get this far of the series...

lakers comes back in 2nd half...

lakers+2.5 1unit,

under 2units.

Boston Team total under 1unit

if lakers down at end of 1st half, go lakers 2nd half Big.

I PICKED BOSTON TO WIN THE WHOLE THING EARLY IN THE SEASON,BUT NOW AM WONDERING THE BEST WAY TO PROTECT MY BET.I DID NOT THINK THE LAKERS WOULD BE AT -200 TO WIN THE SERIES.THIS MAKES IT TOUGH TO BET THEM AS A BACK UP TO MY BOSTON BET.

IM NOT SAYING THAT BOSTON CANT OR WONT WIN THE SERIES,BUT THEY BETTER PICK UP THE PACE.THIS LAKERS TEAM IS NOT THE SAME AS MOST OF THE WEAK EAST COAST TEAMS.

THE BEST I CAN HOPE FOR IS BOSTON TO PLAY LIKE THEY DID IN THE BEGINING OF THE YEAR WITH ALL THAT CONFIDENCE AND ZEST.

Leaning Boston for game 1. Boston can't afford to lose this one or they may not be able to recover, especially with somebody as lethal as Kobe who is one of the best finishers in the league C's can't afford to let one slip @ home. I don't think the league want a tilted match up with LA obviously being the stronger team in the post season in the stronger western conference so Boston must win game 1 in order for them to have a chance to take this to at least 5 games.

this game has some crazy matchup issues... makes me a little concerned about the under...

starting lineups would suggest these matchups:

1) Fisher vs. Rondo

2) Bryant vs. Allen

3) Rad vs. Pierce

4) Odom vs. Garnett

5) Gasol vs. Perkins

now, clearly both teams will have to use some tricks to help off of and onto certain players... and how they do that will be key...

but look at the straight up matchups...

2) Allen cannot handle Bryant... nobody can stop him, but at least Pierce can keep him from going berzerk... but if Pierce covers Kobe, who is Allen going to cover? Rad? hmmmm...

3) Pierce should have a field day with this matchup, but i imagine Kobe will be on Pierce a lot of the time... this could be to the benefit of Allen...

4) Garnett should be able to score at will... Odom will probably get some ballslap steals, but Garnett's full repertoire will be available...

5) Perkins is a great big man defender, but there's no way he can keep up with Gasol... they will have to rotate Garnett over alot and use PJ off the bench alot... could mean some foul problems for the C's, and will definitely mean some big numbers for Gasol...

i am still on the under in game 1, but i am going to be cautious and see how these matchups are looking as the series rolls on...

Boston have beaten the Lakers twice during the regular season, home and away. If the Lakers haven't learned anything from those two losses, Boston all the way.
