The Celts are really not playing very well right now. Most importantly, when the spotlight is on them this year, for the most part they wither under the pressure.......the Lakers love the light and pressure. They also love to play in games that are supposed to be "battles" and then just roll somebody. I think that is what we are looking at here.

Irish, I agree with your post and because I feel the same way I'm going to play the total only. I expect a high scoring game. The Lakers are always capable of putting up over a 100 per outing and the Celts aren't who we thought they were defensively.
OVER 194.5

I just got the total @ 193 on BetED....my final play is OVER 193.
Orlando only proved that they can take out the Cavs of last year. Orlando has already lost a game at home to the Cavs back in Nov. Cleveland also swept the season series vs the Lakers. The Cavs have played the most road games in the league and have the best road record.
USBE, what does something you can feel clearly? That doesn't even make sense. Move on tout.

As a 1960's Lakers fan, I surely do not enjoy this ... however, L.A. appears to be either fat -not as mentally hungry as they were last year- or still mentally soft; or both. More of the later I my concern. Injures are not helping. Basically every starter has had something 'rong with them except the oldest one (D.Fish). That's never good, and yet if there is a mentally tough team in the Association right now; it would be KG and the C's at home in the wannabe Garden. I would not cry if this beats me outta my 1.32u. Though I gotta favor Beantowne at home buying 5.5 points for the C's+7.5 with L.A. (almost) finishing up their longest road-trip of the season.

Man it's a special talent. Not many people has it, so I won't start to explain you. Wanna bet that they will be out the first time in playoffs if they meet Boston or Cavs? You say the amount.

lakers are soft on the road, and celtics are still a force to recon with at home, when fully healthy. Statement game for the celtics, I'll take the small spread on the home side

What are you asking? You really make no sense. I already said Orlando is a different team then last year when they beat the Cavs. I already said the Cavs beat Orlando on the road. Not sure what this has to do with the Lakers game today...I don't even care who wins the game. As long as the score over 193!

The Lakers have basically the same road record as Boston's home record.
Boston is 6-14 ATS at home this season and 2-8 ATS in their last 10 games. The Lakers are 9-12 ATS on the road and 5-5 in their last 10 games, and 4-2 ATS on this road trip.
How is this a statement game for the Celtics? You could say the same for the Lakers.
