look what happens to atlanta when they play good teams S.A./Boston (lose)...Lakers are a very good team...i like the Lakers -4 today...atlanta can win but i don't trust them

I don't trust either of these teams, but the line is telling me to take the Lakers because it's dropping. I know that doesn't make sense.

Bryant sprained his ankle in NJ...he's still expected to play, but this smells like last year when he hurt his pinkie in NJ on the way to Atlanta and they got beat straight up.

Couple that with the longest road trip of the year and I think you gotta take the points here.

I do admit the line feels like a trap, but I tell you what, the Lakers are putting something together right now and they're getting back to covering spreads.

They also have a new goal in mind which is to sweep this road trip. And while it is a lofty one, they believe they can do it and it's actually giving them some new motivation.

Also, nobody's talking about the consistency with which Pau Gasol is playing.

I think if there's a game the Lakers lose on this road trip, it's the one in Charlotte coming up this week, not this one.
