THIS JUST IN:  READ A NEWSAPER!

Being at game 1 showed me how the Pistons cannot deal with the Celtics in the Paint. I look for this to continue. Celtics outscored the pistons 45-20, or something like that in the paint. rasheed was not a factor. 6  pts.   Although Rasheed will come out strong, and the pistons will want to get him involved early, The pistons Bench is also not as deep as the celts. This game will be close. Will be Grimey. I'm leaning toward the celtics ML. They should get the victory, but it will come down to a big play late in the game. CELTICS ML.  Detroit has won in boston this year and so they will play tough. Detroit doesn't want to go home having to win 4 out of the last five. .   GRIMEY GRIMEY GAME. Will be PHYSICAL. On Tuesday the game got more and more physical as it went on. I expect it to start out very physical in the first qtr. Will get rough.   CELTICS ML.  

 

now that is the dumbest thing ive seen all day...how can u even say that? its no coincedence that the books are making a killing right now..and will continue to do so, the public had a little run these playoffs, but thats long over...over the next couple yrs, this nba thing is gonna get huge, weve only seen the tip of the iceberg so far..this thing might lead to no more gambling in the nba!  better hit it hard until that day comes

79-1?  This Doesnt happen.  Sounds like a pyramid scheme to me.  If anyone tells you they post a record better than 60 percent for over a month, then they are lying.

2-1 Last night.  Only play I lost was 2nd half spurs bet.  I got greedy though thinking the Spurs would actually win straight up. 

Now on to tonight.  Boston as we know have been dominating at home in the playoffs and regular season this year.  I took them in game one and that hit.  But tonight, I'm going to be on the other side.

A guy above says Boston is better than Detroit simple as that.  Now, during the regular season I could argue for that.  But right now, I have to argue against that.  Where the BLEEP is Ray Allen?  People that say he is going to snap out of it soon are wrong.  He's had PLENTY of chances to get his shot going.  I watched him last game and he was air balling threes and shooting bricks off the front of the rim.  He is totally ineffective.  The way Boston is winning is by getting HUGE performances out of their other two stars.  KG had a monster game in game 1 and Pierce and Rondo also pulled some weight.   Boston went seven with the Hawks and the Cavs.  Not imprezive at all! 

The Pistons played like I thought they would in Game 1.  Rusty!  Billups was rusty, Rip was rusty, and Rasheed was very rusty.  Antonio McD was really the only Piston to show up and compete last game.  Pistons played awful defense allowing guys like Ray Allen to get to the lane and finish dunks for gosh sakes.  Tonight will be a totally different story.   Look for the Pistons D to step up and make life difficult  for the Celtics.  Look for the Pistons offense to get it going tonight.   The only concern  I really have it Billups.  He is not 100% and he might play like shit again tonight.  Stuckey is a great backup though and this kid can really score.  Sorry I didn't really use any numbers in this writeup.  I'm just going by what I saw last game and that I feel will happen tonight. 

Once again, I see a lot of Boston lovers on here.  Awesome.  I'll fade all day everyday like I always do and grab the Pistons at +5 (buying the half point).  3 Bills.  GL

Also want to add I might be placing a small wager on the under tonight.  Probably 1/2 Bill on it.  GL

Are you talking about MLB Boston or NBA Boston, if the one you are talking about is NBA Celtics, I would say that it might upset you at least for this one.

Home crowd is a huge advantage and no matter how bad they play in the playoff on road, they are very very very strong at home ate least for win.

I don't know much about these people you speak of, but I just fade the public and that touts.  Don't want to insult anybodys intelligence but the touts are the "professional" that sell their picks for a living.  Most famous being Brandon Lang.  These guys are total leechs and the scum of the earth.  B. Lang is down a few thousand dimes since Two for the Money.  Fade this idiot all day every day and make that paper!

You must have misunderstood my original post.  I was saying that I was all over Boston until CK/Styles came out on Detroit.  That made me rethink my pick.  I was not implying I would fade them...I would never fade a single member of this board.  Everyone is entitled to their own opinion...it appears you may be too wrapped up in caring what individuals say.

That being said, I am fading the public on this one, the only entity worth fading.  80% of the money is in on the C's and the over, so I'm liking a DET +10, Under 177.5 teaser.  I'm also all on the BOS -2 at half pick that CMJ is backing (who by the way, provides the most consistently unbiased analysis on this board, along with NightRidah).
