You all know it's coming........ FUCK CLEVELAND!!!                Okay now that thats done....... Did anyone see the post game interviews with pierce? He had trouble getting up from his chair. I think he is hurting more than he is letting on. The Celtics are physically and mentally exhausted. Now they must play a rested and tried team. Hate to say it, but the play must be Detroit +41/2. home court may not hold up here. would love to see my celtics win, but will be a tough tough chore. Not playing this one, due to heart, but would take detroit if playing.  Gl all.

if Celts get past game 1 they should win the series... everyone is bashing the Celtics, but what have they done?  won both of their series, played the best defense of any team in the postseason, and gone 8-0 at home... but somehow they continue to be a disappointment in the playoffs... for bettors, maybe... but that doesn't mean they aren't still the best team in the East (or the NBA, for that matter)...
 
until someone goes into their pad and wins, they are the team to beat...
 
but like i said, they have to get past game 1, because they are beat up from the Cavs series, and that's the one Detroit has a chance to steal... but remember, Billups is also hurting, and he is the general of that team...
 
this will be an under series, predictably... totals will settle in around 168 later in the series, and game 2 or 3 is going to a historically ugly game (both teams in the 60s to low 70s)...
 
i still see Boston winning the series, and see value in the series price of (-125)... i also see this as another home team series, so if you just bet the home team every game and the under every game you should come out well ahead...

porky, nobody is confused here... i posted on this thread in the first game of the season to ride Boston the whole year, and predicted they would be in the Finals... game 1... who were you telling people to bet?
 
weren't you the guy that said the Cavs are a "far superior" team to the Celtics?  "far superior"?  doesn't that mean it should have been a Cavs sweep?  or at least 4-1?  or AT LEAST that the Cavs should have won the series???

i recognized at the start of the year that they had instantly become the best team in the NBA, and since they were the worst last year, that meant there was great value betting on them... particularly because so many sheep (clones, tools, etc) are always slow to get on the bus, since they don't actually know basketball, but only know stats and numbers and trends and all that bullshit... and i was right!
 
of course, by the start of the playoffs that value had become inflated...
 
oh, but if you don't think KG will be dominating the NBA for the next 5 years you're clueless...

Garnett was born on May 19, 1976. Now he is one of the best players in NBA, but because he is 32 years old, he may have 1 or 2 good seasons left, before he fades into a sunset.

Listen. 

There is a huge mismatch between Garnett and Rasheed and it will be exploited.  Celtics have home court advantage and have beaten the Pistons in the last two meetings by plenty.  Lastly, the NBA wants a Lakers v. Celtics match up in the finals.

I gotta admit I am sick of hearing what the NBA and the big Networks want... bottomline, they don't play the game the players do, and yes refs can f*** with things to an extend, shave points, late calls. BUT.. if you have ever played competitive sports at any level above CYO, you compete....and you want to win.....
 
These guys want to win a championship... so stop betting with what the NBA and the TV network "want or would" like to see for the NBA finals......
 
All i heard today was CP3 vs. MVP... geez .... as long as i keep fading all that BS I'll be fine...
