If you thought you saw a lot of foul shots Mon night just wait for how many Kobe shoots tomorrow (if needed). It's a tough game to pick with the spread since LA will win by 3 or 30 but they win so I'll probably pay the juice and go ML LA

Not sure about dominant??? come on Goteelock...Orl has covered and won 3-1 in this series and has covered and won against Clev the last 9 out of 10 games i think. Don't think it gets more dominant than that over the best team in the regular season who lost only 2 home games

Anyone coming from a blowout loss usually comes back firing on all cylinders on the next game. As if kobe needed a chip on his shoulder, like Wangichu said, "no one is hungier than Kobe". Add the fact that now Pau wants to be the good sidekick and demand the ball inside (instead of making retarded Guarantees like someone else), I expect the Lakers to out hustle, out-rebound and out defend the Nuggets in this one.
I'm taking the Lakers 1st Quarter BIG. the Lakers should have a large lead going into halftime, but based on their history, I don't trust their inability to sustain leads throughout the second half.
I think the Lakers lose a little mental focus, and give Denver a fighting chance in the end, but Kobe puts a dagger into their hearts, and sends it back to Denver 3-2.
Please, Please, Please Gasol and Ariza show up tonight.
PS - I wouldn't be surprised to see Kobe deliberately irritate the shit out of Dahntay Jones tonight to get him riled up, enough for a suspension of Game 6.

George Karl called it his team's "mental competitive maturity", or lack thereof, at some point earlier in this series, and it's one of the reasons I like LA to respond pretty emphatically tonight.
There was a hell of a lot of prancing around going on in that game, and I know that's their style at home, but it's also the reason they're racking up the technicals, and the reason, when things aren't going as well for them tonight, that this game could get out of control for them on the scoreboard.
And the Dahntay Jones trip was a mistake for him, and his team. That's all I'll say about that.
Meanwhile, Phil got after the refs and got what should turn out to be a useful fine for his team as we'll see this game much more evenly officiated. Besides, with LA being the aggressor, at home, and in a situation where the series is tied, they'll get to the line more and get more rebounds.
As soon as the Lakers decide to use their size to their advantage Denver will have a tough time defending those two 7 footers. Gasol rarely speaks up and when he does he's pretty democratic about it. I think the team will respond to that, and he'll also take Kobe's advice to make quicker moves and take quicker shots before the double team comes.
And the role players and younger players are always better at home and not as good on the road (the Birdman averages half his stats. on the road).
Add it all up and we'll see LA play it's best game of this series so far and cover the 6 points.
But like Wang, I'll also be all over the LA moneyline.

In fairness to Jones, this is the playoffs and the shove (that he pulled up on somewhat) did prevent a three-point play because Kobe missed before going to the free-throw line.
The other play, tripping a cutting Bryant, is all on Jones. Although it wasn’t called a flagrant foul at the time, the NBA upgraded it as such on Tuesday. With three flagrant fouls in the playoffs, another would result in a one-game suspension for Jones.
