A team doesn't dominate the regular season and play great defense and great offense and then all of a sudden foul that much in the playoffs.  Swallow the fucking whistle refs, and let the players decide the game for a change.  Who fucking cares is Stern wants 7 games, Celtics are FAR better than the Pistons, but the refs will not allow the C's to get the lead.  They won't.  And it sucks

The one pick I played the Pistons on lost...so I guess I wasn't enough of a homer!!  Overall it was only a 4-4 night for me...but still made decent profits thanks to the Celtics ML!!

As I said many times in the Pro Hoops Forum...the refs in this game, and in the playoffs in general sucked big time.  All I can say to David Stern and the NBA referees ( fairly decent odds that they may be in here more often than we think ) is to let these two GREAT basketball teams play the game, and call each game how it is supposed to be played.

LOL after all that BS I ended up $615.12 for the night. Had to hedge every bet I made tonight. Lost all 3 of them, but won all I hedged. That is the glory of Basketball. Plenty of time to hedge.

sorry i didn't get a chance to write up more on this game when i posted my ML and under play... had no time, but after i looked into it this was a very strong play for me...
 
one of the intangible factors that everyone should have looked at... 3 perennial all-star and even dream team players who have never played in a finals have a chance to win 1 game to get there... not the same psychology involved as the games they have struggled to win on the road in these playoffs...
 
add the Rip issue, which, despite his good shooting, was an issue... anyone who follows Rip knows probably the most important part of his game is how he uses his arms to push off on offense and to hold people on defense... taking that away from him was big, and you could see he had to sacrifice that part of his game...
 
grats to the Celts and those who won on them... looking forward to these finals... been awhile since we've seen a serious matchup like this...

David Stern is a joke, because he is responsible for quality control in his league, and he lets this shit continue year to year...
 
how guys like Bennett Salvatore keep their job is beyond me... no other profession would allow you to perform at such a low level and still remain employed...

sorry guys... was at work and in a hurry and never checked to see if it posted... i knew it was a toss up game and seeing it at +200 the value was just screaming to bet it, especially when i thought about KG, Pierce and Allen all being 1 game from their first finals... i know some people think the big 3 have no heart... but those are probably not the people you want to be listening to...
