Bottom line is that the Celtics are going to win this game because the NBA wants both the Lakers and Celtics to be well rested for the Finals. This Detroit team is in shambles right now, and can't win the big one under Flip Saunders. They get right up to the edge of winning...and then fall back. It happened against the Heat, it happened against the Cavs, and tonight it happens against the Celtics.
The Pistons have yet to play a solid game at home in this round. The only reason they won Game 4 was the fact that the Celtics shot like shit. No need to sit here and pretend like they came out and dominated them in any area, because they didn't. McDyess was left open for a majority of the game, and went off. There is no way in hell he goes for 21 and 16 again in this one. Rip Hamilton shot 8-10 from the field...and although he is playing, his elbow is killing him from the chokehold he had on Ray Allen at the end of Game 5. I am very much willing to bet he doesn't shoot even close to 80% in this one.
The major worry I have is that the Celtics will be relying on Game 7 too much in this one. They know that if it goes to Game 7 in Boston on Sunday, they will wipe the floor with Detroit and move on...and they may come out a little sluggish here. What I actually see this game ending up as is a lot like the Lakers/Spurs game last night, where the Spurs jumped out early and hoped the Lakers wouldn't punch back. When they did punch back, the Spurs folded under the pressure. I think this is what's going to happen to the Pistons tonight. They will come out quick behind the energy of the crowd, and then succumb to the pressure of being the inferior team.
They still are getting raped on the boards and points in the paint...which means they rely on outside shots. Rip Hamilton has been the one burying them in the past couple games, but a few hard fouls to the elbow will put an end to that. And let's be serious...my sister is tougher than Rip Hamilton. He is the pussiest guy in the NBA without a doubt. Wallace won't shoot lights out, and will as usual be a serious liability on defense...especially after complaining to the refs. Maxiell and Stuckey will bring the energy, but Ray Ray is on fire again, Rondo is dishing the ball great, KG is unstoppable right now...Celtics are just the better team.

just to clear the air about this. I am in contact with CK... he doesn't have any aliases... these are just a bunch of wiseasses coming on to ruffle some feathers and make the masses think that they are like a gambling jesus back from the dead or something... CK's posts never sounded anything like those ones and i seriously doubt he would have any interest in creating a buttload of aliases and dancing around the mods... that would just be juvenile. and even though I know his plays, i'm not going to post them on the forum for a couple of reasons... 1-i think that's why zigzack got banned 2-i don't want to hurt the feelings of gg or packersbackers (i get tired of hearing them drone on about him enough as it is) 3-people need to think for themselves a little more and use the resources available to them... besides, what good is seeing his plays if you can't see the logic behind them... that's what i liked about CK... his write ups and explanations that showed how he reached his opinions... otherwise, he'd hardly be different from all wiseguys who drop a play, say something stupid and dissappear.

That is why I pretty much space out my bets and don't load up on Boston +5 or the Boston ML....I take the over/under for the game and the half, as well as some nice prop bets. I almost always do this when betting on the Celtcs...whereas I'm more likely to load up on other teams....Such as the Spurs 1st half, Spurs game, Spurs Team Total Over, and so on.
