The Economic questions are highly deceiving and flat out inaccurate.

 

I think the problem is that in the 21st century the "GOP/conservatives" spend and act like liberals promoting a stronger central government... but do so with conservative agendas to drain the country of its resource... and then Obama comes in and does similar but only adds his agenda...

No one wants to take a look at their party... but instead continue to spread the lies and slander...  Basically take no personal accountability and instead just bash the other side... This is the famous white flag that they are embarassed by their own party and no they have nothing to offer so they just bitch and moan about what the other side is doing...

Even though people thought he was crazy, I actually liked for ross perot (not necessarily for his stances) but that he represented a the growing distaste for the two party system and the r and d politicians that were both simply keeping the establishment...

similar to perot the libertarian party has stance which piss both sides off because they ask that both sides drop their agendas and do what is best for americans...  hard concept for either side

Rick, I was speaking in general. It seemed every time I saw a liberal speaking it was always about freedom and liberty. When it comes to issues like abortion, porn, private life, individual rights, equal rights, equal justice, social equality, body rights, immigration, censorship, prostitution, drugs, and marriage. Democrats have a liberal approach to all of these issues.

Democrats are closer to being libertarians than republicans on ALL of these issues. Republicans believe the government has the right to create laws on personal beliefs. Look at the scores some of these guys got on personal issues. They want the United States, founded on a democracy, freedom, liberty, and progress, to be a theo-facist government…and they’re proud to say it!

Republicans need to pick up their shit and move to Vatican City. Democrats need to pick up their shit and move to Cuba. Now if you want to live here. You have to except freedom, liberty, and progress. Like the founding fathers of this country intended. Notice that not a single person challenged post 20. I think it was the most beautiful post I ever posted.

I see where you are coming from. I see democrats as constantly perpetuating a nanny state, and attempting to trample the ideals of the Republic to promote Democracy (which never works, and has proven to be a gateway to Tyranny) . different perspective.

Money,,,,you are all over the place. from Obama supporter to Paul to Johnson over the last six weeks. The comment wasn't directed at anyone in particular, there are plenty of people that claim to be 'independent', but it's as if they seem to exert the most energy on proving to someone else that they are so independent, and you'd figure what with all these born again independents (not a knock, people disowning the two party system is a win in itself), that there would be a bevy of new ideas and information to ponder,,,,,and i'm just not seeing it.

my personal point of view is that it is all but impossible to be watching all the media outlets and talking heads, and to filter out all that crap, and still make an independent thought,,,,,what i see is highly adulterated thinking, saturated with the propaganda of the collective institutions that wish to bombard you with their crap

My problem with republicans is social bigotry. I said it hundreds of times already. Look who I had to choose from four years ago. Obams hope and change idea tricked me. I always voted dem because of social bigotry issues.

I’m the ONLY one on here that attacks both sides and speaks his mind. Post 31 clearly says why I side with the lesser of the two evils. It’s Ron Paul, my candidate Gary Johnson (by the way Mr. Johnson could be the greatest president of all time if he was elected) and if I have to choose who is going to fuck the country.

The 'quiz' is subjective and makes a cursory determination of where you fall in the political spectrum.

Although, no way you understand the above sentence given it has several words with more than three letters.

I just relate with the situation of being labeled as liberal  when I am not one...  Thats my issue...

Simply read the thread... no mention circle jerk, no mention of male bonding, no mention of sarah palin...  Yet you are bringing it up out of absolutely no where... Thats your issues...

A low score on the economics is desirable.  Here are the 5 questions.....

1)  END corporate welfare?...... okay, see you Auto business

2)  END barriers to global free trade?....... okay, goodbye Middle Class

3)  Let People control their social security?...... debateable but obviously this question does not favor the word Pension.

4)  Replace welfare with private charity?...... SURE, this would work

5)  Cut taxes and spending by 50%?...... No more infrastructure?

These economic questions are not even economic questions.

The 5 questions should be.....

1)  Would you rather pay 35% tax on a million dollars in income, or 20% tax on half a million in income?

2)  Do you believe the price of the dollar has anything to do with your standard of living?

3)  Do you know what a balance sheet is?

4)  Are employment figures important?

5)  Are you able to recognize an Asian country on a globe?

Those are relevant economic questions.
