I thought he said he didn't vote. I didn't vote for either as well I voted for Johnson.
As to your points, Sure, fair enough.
I do not put my faith in princes (as the proverb says)
But I think Rand Paul is more equipped to make more of the right decisions, because of who his father is, and because of a lot of his positions that he has stood behind.
I think I really gained a lot of respect for him when he talked to Rachael Maddow about the civil rights act, and how he handled himself afterword's as he was called a racist etc.
I think that he has more libertarian principles than anyone currently in the GOP, and if he applies 5% of them to a presidency. I believe we are better off.
It is a gamble, but really, who the hell else is there for a guy like me to vote for:?????

Why would you say Wall is doing nothing about it. He voted, just not for either. There is nothing wrong with that. I have more concerns about people that simply don't vote. There is a candidate out there for anyone and like you said, you may not like all of someone's views but you trust them.
Getting to that...you, nor I have any idea what RP would do. We know he opposes abortion, we know he has made it clear he is not ending the war on drugs, and we know he opposes same sex marriage. Generally speaking, one's viewpoint shapes advocacy and the President wields huge power.
Even if he did not support a federal law, he could influence the states with fundraising, support, judicial appointments, etc.
Actually, if this is true like I had suspected, then Wallstreet's words are shallow, and he CANNOT be taken seriously.
He specifically stated that "ALL politicians are corrupt and part of a poisoned system". If he genuinely feels this way, the honorable thing would be to NOT vote at all. However, if he thinks an independent or write-in who has virtually no shot of winning is not like the others, then by all means he should vote this way.
But he is lumping ALL these people into the same category; therefore he is contributing to the poisoned, corrupted system and is being a hypocrite.

Just tongue and cheek bud, but How do you feel about another Clinton in office?
Not a big Hills fan, to me she is more politically sneaky than Bill ever was..
But..I'd take her over Obama and most other candidates I currently see..having her in would probably mean Bill has some influence, but it probably doesnt matter much, our political system is a massive mess.

Of course I didnt vote, and I wont vote unless there is a candidate I feel is worth voting for.
Even though we have the right and should vote, I could not choose either candidate last election.
Djbrow said you did vote, which was incorrect on his part. I used to think it was honorable to vote and I was exercising my duty, but I now believe (like George Carlin and you have basically said) that if one does vote when the candidates are comprised of the same filth, you are doing the country a major disservice.
And on another point, I know Romney and Obama were equally reprehensible candidates, but how can black people be such racists as to almost unanimously vote for Obama in his second term after such an awful first one?

If those that were disenfranchised with voting would just vote thrid party, other parties could get equal time in debates etc.
For me the third party guys are worse because of their fringe views that I completely disagree with.
The kind of politician I want is one that will tackle the real issue, not some gun loving, pro-pot, psychotic government wacko.
The problem for me with 3rd party is they are scrambling for support so they love to tick people off with grandstanding garbage but NONE have real solutions, just pointing fingers and doomsday heretics.

The ability for a larger field of nominees should be the ultimate gain for you if you have given up on the predominate two.
There isnt a candidate who is non-extremist who is third party, they all have some bizarre axe to grind which means they are merely part of the problem.
Politicians are all about who else is wrong and their pet project and none are about trying to tackle big problems and address real issues.
Pot smoking, guns rights, abolish the FED, that is not what the future of this country is about..it is not going to lead us in a better direction. There is nothing cutting edge about third party candidates, just as there is nothing cutting edge about Rand Paul or any other existing politician that I see.
Where is the politician that wants to get rid of money, special interests and political cheating? All these side show topics are not what is crippling this country.
