Jobs in a right to work state.
The A320 plant in Mobile, Alabama is expected to create some 1,000 jobs, said Airbus, which is part of European aerospace group EADS. It also said the plant had the potential to create 5,000 jobs for Mobile and surrounding areas, as big manufacturing operations tend to lure suppliers and additional jobs.
Coincidence, I'm sure.

truth be known, it's probably more about the incentives that were offered by the state than anything. But in theory, Alabama comes out ahead in the long run.

Its mind boggling how some of you get so much enjoyment in wanting to see your fellow citizen make less money, get no health insurance, no retirment plans, no vacation etc etc.
I just wonder if you wish these things on yourselves or is it just the other person that shouldnt have any of those things.
Why some of you want workers to work for lower pay, just blows my mind. Do you guys get your rocks off knowing that fatcats will then make more money, because they sure as hell arent going to lower prices and pass them onto you![]()
I think some of you are fatcat groupies that enjoy seeing the rich get richer for some reason![]()

LMFAOOOOOOOO yup maine road it was the auto workers being paid to much and not the fat cat millionaires who ruined the companies. Yup it was the workers on the line who designed all the garbage product that hurt the company.
Yup its always the working man at fault, when things go wrong.
Another fat cat groupie

It does seem unfair for a select group of people to live like sultans in the Hamptons (and elsewhere), while working families can hardly pay their mortgages. I wish I had a solution for that that doesn't scare me more than the problem. I still can't figure out why people on Wall Street got to keep bonuses they made selling junk - that they knew was junk when they sold it. If I were in charge, they'd be lucky not to be in Leavenworth, much less Bridgehampton. But, I'm not in charge, and I'm not sure how paying someone $34/hour to do a job someone in Alabama will do for $17/hour, and someone in Indonesia will do for $1.70/hour, really fixes any of that.
I know a fair amount of auto workers (or did). They did very well - far better than me - for many years. They didn't have student loans. Their weekends were free. They left work at 4:30. They drove new vehicles (my "newest" car ever was six-years-old when I bought it). Many had homes at the beach (I'm lucky if a take a real vacation, and sure as hell don't own a beach house). That plant is now gone, and they complain about getting "screwed."
I used to sit down the bar from a bunch of steelworkers, who would come in every day and tell stories about how they, and others, drank, slept, screwed, gambled, whatever on the job. I was there the day their plant closed, and all they could talk about was how they had been screwed over, how they worked their asses off for years, and so forth, I knew it was crap. So did they.

Thats the same kinda stuff that CD is oblivious to.
He and others still get lost on the sentiment that people should be paid according to their need rather than according to their contributions.
Once he grasps that concept he and I will see more eye to eye.

all that time she insisted she was not the woman police wanted for throwing hot water on Angelo Boyd — a man she had never met, a man who said he had never met her either.
At any time during those 53 days, the various entities in Atlanta’s and Fulton County’s justice systems could have saved her from the cracks she had fallen through.

You guys in your phony union bashing stories get more comical each day. Maybe 30-40 years ago workers were drinking on the job and playing cards, but none of that shit takes place in probably 95 percent of the work places. So really knock off the bullshit stories.
Also if you think non union workers never goof off on their jobs, you guys are all living in disney world.
Hey maine road, please tell me how having our stuff made over in indonesia helps the people in our country? I wonder if you would enjoy and be happy if your job was moved or there.
Your just another brain dead right winger nwho thinks if we let companies make their products overseas, that you will pay lower prices on those products. I know you right wingers are unable to use your own brains and see companies that have their shit made overseas, dont sell their stuff at a lower price. They sell their products for prices, for the same amounts when American workers were making them.
They arent going to give you no break maine road, the fat cats are just going tpo keep all that extra profit and make themselves fatter. So if you think thats the way America should be, then in my book your nothing but a horrible American who only cares about himself, which is the case with most of you right wingers.
And please dont come back and use the line, why shouldnt companies be able to make all the profit they can, because to that i will say, thats okay if they were making their stuff here.
If i was in charge i would tell all those dirtbag companies to sell their shit overseas or pay a hefty import tax, something you republicans would never do.
Your idol and one of the worst Presidents ever, Ronnie Reagan started. Hope hes in hell burning right now
Bunch of sorry excuses for human beings on this forum
