While I think it is crazy to regulate backpacks... perhaps if we have more people with backpacks and the Big Intrusive government dictates that everyone must wear a backpack we can all feel safer...

But I agree with you 100% about the how the most despicable and pathetic people will wait for a crisis or tragedy to come out pushing their agenda/rhetoric...
