 Redeployment year after year is getting ridiculous. Time to share the burden. Why in heavens name should a few volunteers carry this load ?       IT JUST ISN'T RIGHT !   And taking volunteers up to age 42 when there are millions of 19 to 29 years. Give me a break.

Actually he isn't.

The Iraq war is/was BS.

The war in Afganistan is BS too. Why fight a war that any intelligent person knows you can't win? No empire has been able to conquer that country. I don't see how or why the American Empire would be successful.
Didn't the Vietnam war teach us anything?

It's on hold for many reason...One is diplomacy, trying to get other nations to send troops, 2, have a thoughtful process before proceeding. 3 yes, it is political to a degree, as all wartime decisions.

World War 11 didn't teach you anything, that's for sure. We were attacked !!!! Wake up !. Now that we are winding down the wrong war in Irag, it's time to wipe out the terrorists at there roots. A lottery Draft for all between the ages of 19-29 is in order.

Here's an idea. How about quit cowardly attacking other countries and trying to police the world. Then you wouldn't have service people on their 4th and 5th tours.

Sign up then buddy, you can send yourself or your kids over to die in that shithole. I sure as fuck wouldn't fight in either of these wars we have going on. If we had a legitimate reason like in WWII i wouldn't be opposed to a draft.

i forgot these volunteer's do get compensated for their service. So it's really not quite volunteer then is it??
