This past summer, he held up a flood insurance bill that had bi-partisan support because he wanted to add an amendment that would give legal protections to fetuses from the moment of fertilization. He opposes abortion even in the case of incest and rape.

He opposes children of immigrants receiving citizenship.

He also criticized Obama's support for happy marriage stating his views couldn't get any 'gayer.'

Even his alleged support of drugs has been subject to contradictory statements, including a statement that he does not support marijuana legalization.

And don't forget that he was originally opposed to leaving Iraq.

I give his father credit in certain areas. Rand is not, however, his father.

Well, I guess it depends on what your definition of a libertarian is. I don't think true libertarian stand for restrictions on who you can marry, provided the other person is of age and competence, what one can do with their bodies as long as it doesn't impact viability, or giving authorities the right to stop law abiding citizens based on how they look.

Rand seems to be on the non-libertarian side on all of these.

I may have mislead the readers when I claimed you and Don are of the same intelligence.  Don has won more contests than you, so you all take it any way you want.
