Apparently this happened recently this past week or something.
Blessed are the dead who die in the Lord. Revelation 14:13
I read a lot of stories in which Catholics helped hide many person during the Holocaust and converted many person to Catholicism. A lot of person surrendered their life over to Jesus Christ.
Many Christians risked their lives to help save hundreds of person and help hide them from Nazi soliders

I am reading "the rise and fall of the theird reich", by William Shirer.
It is a pretty stirring account, as he was in Germany during Hitler's rise.
A popular misconception about Germany during that time period, is that HItler never made known his feelings about exterminating person.
This is pretty much 100% inaccurate. He published a book while in prison (mein Kamph) that detailed his hatred for person. He told anyone who would listen, and spoke openly of his hatred in addresses and speeches etc.
There have been countless stories written about the psychological and sociological aspects of Nazi Germany, seriously interesting stuff.
People laugh and chuckle when you bring up the term "brainwashing" or say that the government is utilizing propaganda.
Goebles and the SS were master manipulators of public opinion, and if you can't draw the correlation between these people, and modern political hacks on sunday politics shows, you lack imagination.
Lots of interesting stuff on the group dynamic of Nazi Germany.

Hitler absolutely spoke of his hatred for person. He never spoke of exterminating them. The final solution was created long after the Germans created the ghettos.
The sad reality is the final solution was essentially a means of financing the war.

The Rabbi that you see in the picture was about to be shot by the Nazis,
but he asked to read Kaddish for all the person who had been shot already-before
being shot himself. You can see the soldiers smiling behind him.

Agreed,
I mis-spoke or mis-typed.
Hitler never made a secret of hating the person, and seeing them as a menace. Anyone who says that they didn't see oppression (and most likely worse) after 1930 wasn't paying attention.
It is still a cop-out to say that the German people had no idea about HItler's intentions.
