it's a dilemma i don't know how today's republicans can resolve.

The problem is the Republican Party seems to still live in the past. Take karl Rove for example, he might have got Bush elected but he's still running the SAME playbook in 2012 AFTER losing in 2008. The worst is he still doesn't know what really went wrong.

It's not Rove.  It's higher up.  The big money dictates.  But they cannot accept and cannot comprehend.

I wouldn't put it past him. After all, he DID sucessfully convince a lot of  those big donors, not to mention his reaction on election night was just.....

I respect rove in that he had a history of selling his view to a voting base that buys it hook-line-sinker...

But I think he also did not agree the choice palin that got the GOP so pumped...

So I think while he might be trying to use the same play book trying to run the "split-t or wish bone" in an nfl environment that runs a pistol offense.

He also recognizes that since 2008, time and time again the GOP have chosen to use such poor strategy that it make you wonder if there is even a strategy in place other then whining about Obama and defamation of character.

It is as if when given a chance they shoot themselves in the foot multiple times completely turning off groups of possible voters. And all if these blunders and errors basically handed Obama the 2012 election.
