Gulp...Ducks in 7. 
 
And, I live less than a mile from the Shark tank 
 
I want to think that the additions of cup winners Boyle, Lukowich, Blake, McLellan will make a difference this year.  And it likely would if they played ANYBODY except the Ducks. 
 
Anaheim knows this team and always plays them tough.  Very chippy home and home 2 weeks ago, where each won in the other's rink.  Local fans are restless and (gasp) might turn on the home team at the first sign of trouble. 
 
Sharks picked up former Ducks Moen and Huskins at the deadline, so at least they got a bit of competitive intelligence.   
 
As a fan I really hope I'm wrong, but my head is controlling the wagering .

Despite the analysts saying this will be close because the Anaheim has postseason experience, and that they are a very dangerous draw as an 8 seed.  I think the talent level of the Sharks is far superior then the Ducks.  Faster team, better goaltending and overall top team in hockey = Sharks edge

Well, what does everybody think now?

I think if Anaheim plays like that again for Game Two and the rest of the series, they'll be hard-up to win another game.  Sharks won't be stupid twice in-a-row an not shield Hiller.

Sharks looked ridiculous at home vs the Ducks..Niedermayer looks 25 again, Beauchemin is actyually making a difference here, whitney partnered with Pronger...this Duck team is rolling just a San Jose is folding up...trust me when i say this is not the matchup the Sharks wanted in rnd one...and in my thread I thought the sharks would take it in 7...for obvious reasons I don't see it going 6 now...The Ducks are in control...too many experiences to draw from....Hiller is the real deal...if you thought they were tight in the Tank...watch tonight....do not overlook they have a chance to fillet the sharks  at home....
