Philadelphia Fans are some of the best Sports fans in the world ..

 

Even when their teams stink , Fans show up and games and they always seem to show up here in Buffalo

C'mon now, lets not judge an entire city because of a few worthless fans. Montreal is a great city, both for its' sports, entertainment and night life as well. In fact Montreal puts Toronto to shame when it comes to the night life imo and I've witnessed both scenes on a number of occasions. Absolutely no comparison. I've been to many, many hockey games both at the Forum and the Bell Centre in Montreal and also to a number of Grey Cups as well over the years and have never encountered a problem. The people there have always been fantastic and courtious and I couldn't have been treated any better in the many bars I frequented along the famous 'Crescent Street'. As always, however, there are always a few bad apples in the crowd/city that spoil it for everyone else and the city itself. I only hope and am quite sure that a few Flyer fans caught the penalty box incident with Mike Richards on the tube last night and will be anxious to see what transpires when some of the Canadien players pay a visit to the sinbin in Philadelphia Monday and Wednesday nights. If the Hab jerks think it was a big joke to toss a cup of beer on Richards last night, wait until the Canadien players get a taste or feel of a cup of good ol' warm 'urine' tossed on them. Of course that is if the officials happen to even award Montreal with any penalties at all over the course of the two games.

listen i am from montreal and this is the first time i have been embarassed for our city. we just beat boston in game 7 and most of the talk is abuot a motherfukin riot.

 

its impossible to say who exactly started it and most people say it wasnt habs fans. i would like to think it wasnt but there prolly was a few idiots who were habs fans that wereaa part of it.

 

also there was a wu tang clan concert that same night and many suspect most of the hoodlums from there started the riot.

 

eitherway there are always idiots who ruin things for everyone. people who throw beer bottles at players and poor beer on them as well are low life POS. french, english, from montreal or philly. people like them are in every city.

 

and what is up with philly blowing 2 goal leads every other game?

Against the capitals, no explanation for the 2 goal leads. just bad coaching and no effort.

 

For the habs game, hard to hold a 2 goal lead when you have 5 players against you, 2 refferees and im not sure how many morons are watching video replay.. But hey, there canada's team now.. gotta count for something.

 

I feel bad for Montreal when they have to come to philly and take a penalty, or if they win the series on philly's ice.

lol you guys swept the regular season with about 4 guys from our AHL roster.. i already posted the rosters from those 4 games before.. plus reg season means squat, we saw that last round with you guys against the bruins

If You guys are true hockey fans then you should watch that movie "THE ROCKET", great movie about Maurice Richard and the struggles of French Canadians in the NHL.  This movie will shed some light on why the fans are that way.  They have passion and love the sport, they live and die hockey, not football, not baseball no collage sports or highschool sports like the most people in the US prefer. 

was just watchin pistons and sixers game on espn.antoniio mcdyess got poked in the face and is bleedin.then one of the announcers says....AND THE CROWD IS BOOING??....the other announcer jokingly replies...its philly what do u expect.
