whenever i watch 17 play he doesnt play the same as he use too. i just think he played totally different in the ATL offense. I agree devils have always been a solid team but its been because of there solid goaltending ( which is starting to come on ) but there defense this year lacks alot.

tampa and dallas aren't in the same category as those other teams despite what their regular season success might show imo.
their defenses will get exploited in the playoffs

New Jersey's record under Lemaire dropped to 7-8-1 with the loss at Detroit. That record was once 1-7-0. Devils are 6-1-1 in their last 8. Jacques Lemaire is making a difference - there is no doubt about it.
So you think Matrin Brodeur who posted a 45 wins last season with a 2.24 GAA and a .916 SV% just turned into a siv over night? He was hurt majority of the first half of the season and is finally becoming healthy. Hes not going to post an .894 SV% all season i can gauruntee you that.

If the NHL decide's it's 'Vancouver's year, they win the cup..... But if you ask me, I think all the pieces are in place for Flyer's to finally get their Cup.... Maybe next year for the Canucks.......

i really wouldnt compare flames and devils.
flames can still go on a winning streak and make the playoffs.
devils are playing for pride and lack alot of scoring.

Dallas is effin good this year, I agree. I actually live in Dallas - goto almost every home game. But they couldn't beat Vancouver in a 7 game series on the road. They might win a few - hell they might take it to 7 and be tied going into the third. but in the end Vancouvers core has been doing this for years now Vancouver is finally ready to win.
