Senators @ Bruins Sunday, do I have this CORRECT?

looks like IF the Senators WIN tomarrow, regulation OR LOSE OT/SO, they get the 7th seed with head to head tie breaker on Islanders. regulation loss = 8th seed and get Penguins

Bruins need to WIN regulation OR OT/SO to jump over Habs for 2nd seed, OT/SO loss and Habs have ROW tie breaker and Habs hold 2nd seed. Bruins would stay in 4th and get Maple Leafs

Bruins losing means they get the Leafs whom they have owned through the Kessel years!

good point, Flutie. B's 2-1 vs Leafs this season. won 1st two matches 2-1 and 4-2, lost last March 23rd 2-3 BUT they have been pretty "flat" lately. they don't "straighten up" for playoffs, they could have problems with either team

It really wouldn't shock me if the Leafs or Islanders beat Boston in the playoffs.

East playoffs obviously not "set" until Sunday BUT the Bruins are one of the teams I think is "vulnerable" along with the Ducks (vs Red Wings), Capitals (vs Rangers) and Blues (vs Kings)

So what the moral of this thread? Which team is the proper pick based on where they might prefer to finish?

Btw, Flutie did you say the Senators were stoned by Philly goaltending? 

For the last month...the Bruins have looked horrid. Again last night...they gave up another 3rd period lead to lose. The team is missing something...they don't look motivated. They only play their best when they are agressively hitting and forechecking to set up scoring opportunities but they have been getting out physicaled quite often as of late.

Now...maybe they find their anger for the playoffs but I don't think they can just turn a switch right now. I also will not be surprised if they exit in the first round. When you give up 7 3rd period leads to lose in a 48 game season...there is a fundamental problem.
