OVECHKIN SKIPS ALL STAR GAME

Kypreos brought up a good point in his article yesterday, if you take the suspension "no show" angle to the extreme, lets say a vicious stick swinging injury where a player was seriously hurt. The perp an all star invitee, gets 10+ gm suspension, should the perp be permitted to play in the all star game? Probably not.

OV can do what he wants. The game sucks anyways.

good point by Kypreos, HT. makes sense that IF a player is suspended, they should NOT be allowed to play in an All-Star game.

has the league announced a replacement? I sure hope James Neal gets the call. he deserves it for his season so far.

i think the vets, such as lidstrom, etc should have a choice to go or not, without retribution. they are more concerned about getting rest, and winning lord stanley. let some kid go to the silly game, guaranteed it means more to him, than some ol vet that has been there done that year in and year out.

saw on the NBC Sports news scroll during the game Wednesday that the Penguins James Neal will be Ovechkin's replacement. it's definately deserved

He decided not go so be it. It's done deal. Replacement in place. Some people support him some don't. ASG sucks balls anyway. Chill people and concentrate how to win some games and get paid! Fuck books! Lets Go!
