Ladd went straight into Kipper that was the Hawks game plan from the start. It doesn't matter its only game one. If people watched all the first games in the west the Wings still showed why they are the team to beat.

My two cents:
 
...the chicago goal shoulda been disallowed..period. They rant and rave out "an opposing player must be aware of where he is relation to the goalie at all times." He made NO attempt to not run into Kipper. With that said, the bump wasn't big, but it was definately before the shot went in. 
 
...the Wings game - don't let the score fool you. The jackets blew the 2nd and 3rd period on their own. It's like they were proud of themselves that they were scoreless with the Wings going into the 2nd period. Wings get two bad goals (one of the BJ's knee , the other of the BJ's hand), both would have been stopped by Mason imo.  Game was much closer than the score indicates. (ps...BJ's take game 2).

It was a good goal...puck was past kipper before the contact! Whatever...its a long series...I still like CHI to win this thing based on goaltending alone! kHabbibulen or however you spell it is a much better goalie then Kipper and we all know it! Khabbi was the difference last night robbing Iginla right out in front! Thats all Chicago needs to get wins...They are so talented that they are willing to go tit for tat with almost anyone!

Flames will losein 5...They got no legs! Young kids out playing them in talent department and physicality! Series is done and Cal will be golfing soon!
