LEAFS HUGE TOMORROW

Just saw them at plus odds at bet365.

They have actually been playing better lately. Have gotten a point in 5 straight games. Kessel looked very good against Tampa Bay. The defence is starting to play alot better in front of Gusto. They are finally playing like a team and playing something that resembles a system.

But heres the catch.

They are playing against the CANES. They are in the worst slump in the league currently. They are going to be without Eric Staal. Whitney and Ruutu sustained injuries against Florida and will most likely not play (canes have called up boychuk, so looks like someone will be sitting of the two). This team isnt just getting beat, the games arent even that close, losing by 3-4 goals routinely.

Leafs are gaining momentum. Leafs ALWAYS play imspired hockey in Raleigh. Canes look like a battered and defeated squad whos coach has lost the dressing room. Im one of the most pessimistic leaf fans out there but I dont think I've seen a better spot to lay alot of money down on them.

I dont ever put money down on the Leafs. Im one of the teams biggest detractors while being a hardcore fan.

This game lines up perfectly for them.

I mean what is there exactly to like right now about the Canes

-They are winless in there last 10 games

-They are without there best player

-There goalie has been strugglin

- 2 of there better support players will not be playing

- They are something like 0 for there last 25 on the powerplay

This team is in shambles.

Last year I went to this game when the Canes were healthy and they got shelled by Toronto.  The Canes made some late goals to make it interesting but Toronto skated circles around them.  Could be more of the same this year

Are You all forgetting that the leafs have won only one game and Paul Maurice will not forget how he was F##ked by Toronto in the past.  Canes end losing streak tonight 4-2
