You have to like the Over in this game the way PIT has been scoring against teams with shaky defensive numbers and I believe PIT will net 4+ to win by multi, so I'm taking the PL as well for the trifecta. With the 3rd most goals against in the league, NYI simply does not have the tools in the shed to put up a wall. They looked good against the tropical hockey teams, but they were recently taken into OT against a soft PHI squad following a last-ditch effort in WSH after giving up a 2-0 lead. Entering the 'Burgh having packed no momentum in their overnight bag, NYI may as well be looking ahead to the next stop on their road trip to face an injury-prone NJD.
As said, I like the PL; it's a nice spot for PIT to continue rolling and remain undefeated in March. They've nearly doubled their foe's efforts this month with a score of 51-26 and are absolutely snowballing as they've outscored opponents 30-8 in their last 9 games. Malkin is back in action and already has contributed to the league's best overall team chemistry with a goal scored in his return last time out. As a confidence booster, Fleury may be making his return as well today and has been the Beast in the East as of late. Even without Fleur-power, Vokoun is an unsung hero that has not only just shutout WPG to make it two shutouts in a row for PIT, but he held BOS to a single goal and has won 6 starts in a row.
The number is tall, however, don't fear the juice; oddsmakers really trying to SELL NYI here with that ticket imo. My advice is to go heavy on it and laugh all the way to the bank. But I have been wrong before. BOL Covers!

On PIT -1.5 here - lot of people like the value for the Isles here. Fish sticks play well on the road but Pens have been on fire and they wont lay down for this game. Unless Tavares scores a hat trick, I can't see the streak ending here.
