What a joke, a terrible call to end a great game... Clearly gabby was rode into the goalie, and this coming after that "miracle" bounce off the glass down in jersey last week to give the devils a last minute goal.

Oh good gawd, Gabby made no attempt to avoid Brodeur. Yes Volchenkov was on his side not back, but he was backing off and Gabby felt Volchenkov on him and he took advantage by keeping forward. He could of veered left with no problem.

Volchenkov was stopping, you can see him putting on the brakes.  If he was actually pushing Gabby like some claim, he would of been in the goal and the goal would of came off the pegs.

He did push gabby, and if gabby made no attempt to slow himself than he would have went thru marty and knocked off the goal. when your crashing the net with 3 seconds left and you get shoved from behind theres not much you can do to avoid the goalie 

just watched the replay and Lipps comments nail it.... That was a penalty folks, how can you say Volch pushed in him when there was no extension of his arms at all? Good call no goal

Come on Ihiouse, he could of veered left and missed Brodeur. And 3 seconds is tons of time to veer off course.  He was trying to take advantage of the touch.

You think the refs and league office has some special grudge against the Rangers ?  There has been much less offences than that where a goal was called off.

I say the corrrect call was made and the guys that do this for a profession say the same thing.

you dont need to use your arms to bump somebody into the goalie

neither guy had possesion on the puck, the defender has just as much right to the ice as Gabby

wierd that all the guys on NHL overtime think that it was a bad call by the refs in the rangers game also... the no goal in the B's game was brutal but im glad it happened because after 2 terrible calls they will change this somehow.

its clear when you see the overhead view that he was trying to stop and was pushed in. Refs make bad calls shit happens, but dont tell me after you can watch the replays that the right call was made

I watched the replay many times over and I say the right call was made.
