After 25 years of letting gambling control my life, I realize I don't have the self-control or money management skills to continue. Like an idiot I put the remainder of my dwindling bankroll all on one bet. I took the over 6 in the flyers/lightning game at even money. Bookie won't let me cancel. I'll either be at zero or I'll be getting a big payout tomorrow morning. Either way, I'm out. It takes a strong man to admit he sucks at something. I suck.

hopefully the "Superfly's" and "Honey Badger Bugs", that BOTH fill the net, show up tonight and NOT the "Fruitfly's" and "Honey Boo Boo Bugs" that DON'T. here's to your OVER being MADE by the end of the 2nd period.

I don't think this decision takes further deliberation. I could afford a fleet of Maserati at this point had I not ever gambled.

you have obviously indentified the problem, now just CORRECT it. the "chase" is what knocks off MOST gamblers. IF you have the urge to to do that you KNOW it's a mistake and just DON'T.  NO need to "jump into the deep end"

"Just don't" is easier said than done. The chase in sports betting is the same as tilt in poker. It's an uncontrollable urge to make up for hard earned money in one quick swoop. I can't help it. I'm an addict. I pick for others and they do well because they don't get my insane plays...you guys out there know who you are that do the same. You're the ones who bet on the late Hawaii basketball game just for the action. Or some polish soccer match with teams no one has ever heard of.

That last post it me right on.  I used to chase and chase and chase. Bet on a west coast college basketball game just to be able to sweat it out. I finally learned the Money Management aspect of the sports betting world. Good Luck Tonight Brother!
