I agree with DAL getting that important pt. to avoid CAL. However, why did Montgomery decide to not travel a few starters to CHI?. Seem's with 2 games to get that pt, there should be no better time than the present to get it. I guess he's confident in picking it up at MIN and with Bishop back in net. IDK.

Per their NHL.com team page....(Bishop was expected due to nagging injury)
The Dallas Stars will rest some key players this weekend as they play back-to-back games against the Chicago Blackhawks and Minnesota Wild to close out the regular season and gear up for the Stanley Cup Playoffs, which get underway next week.
Goaltender , forwards and , and defensemen all will not make the trip to Chicago for Friday night's game against the Blackhawks (7:30 p.m. CT; FS-SW+; KTCK) .

Hmmm...my cut n paste from NHL.com left out the players names, so here goes...."Goaltender Ben Bishop, forwards Jamie Benn & Mats Zuccarello, along with defenseman Roman Polak all will not make the trip to Chicago for Friday night's game against the Blackhawks (7:30 p.m. CT; FS-SW+; KTCK) .

I feel as the hawks are going to come out SOG blazing for their last home game....they have absolutely no pressure and nothing to lose + Kane can add to his personal best in points.
