Please, don't let all playoff games resemble the Caps/Isles game last night. Ratings will tank Instead give me the Cats/Canes in a series. Cats were 1-9 on PP and Canes had 2 shorties. Is Boston really "coming on" or is it they just aren't playing anyone? Pens did what I expected them to do after the Tuesday night debacle. Leafs showed up and they are really close to claiming that #1 spot, if they didn't do it last night. Tampa is just not Tampa at this moment, but really it's about getting to the playoffs, then anything can happen. Those pesky Sens (good call Metal). I guess the 4th seed in the Central and West are the last remaining spots to claim. Yotes have the easier remaining schedule compared to the Blues. And if anyone wants to take a guess with the Central, go right ahead. Dallas has 2 with Canes, 3 at Tampa, 1 at Florida 1 at Nashville and final 2 at Chicago. Preds have 2 home vs Florida, 1 home vs Dallas, 2 at Columbus and 2 at home vs Canes. Hawks, 7 of last 9 at home. Nashville x2, Tampa x 1, Florida x2 and Dallas x 2 with 3 on the road vs Canes. Problem is Canes, Cats and Tampa will all be playing hard to get that #1 spot.
Onto tonight. Speaking of Hawks vs Preds. Will be interesting to see who goes for Nashville. Thought the Hawks found a flaw with Saros the other night as they kept going high and scoring. Similar situation to Pens/Devils? Preds with 3rd period meltdown Wednesday, how do they respond? Boston vs Swords (again, really???) Rask vs rookie, Luukkonen (expected). His Rochester numbers are not really good. 14 Games, 3.60 GAA and .888 %. Well, the Rangers/Flyers game didn't touch that over last night, but is tonight a different situation? Earlier expectations are we will see Lyons for Flyers (let's see, 4 games last 2 years and GA is 5, 1, 3, 4) vs expected Georgiev. Wild vs Kings. Dare bet against the Wild? Believe it or not, the Kings have 4 games in hand vs Yotes and are only 5 points back, so they still are in the fight. The 8th meeting between these 2 and 4 of the first 7 have gone over total. Habs vs Flames. Flames 4-2 vs Habs this year, winning both games at home. The UNDER very prevalent between these 2 (0-5-1) O/U.
My early thoughts. Preds ML, Rangers/Flyers over and Rangers tt. We'll see.
What do you want to talk about?

GASportsdoc i agree with the Ranger over. Last night both teams missed open nets that game could have gone over. Tonight the game should be same way lots of chances. The Flames game well forget goals in that game. This game will be the total opposite. Low shots low scoring chances they way Sutter likes it. Predators won the previous 7 games vs the Hawks till that third period collapse. So as of now I will tail the Ranger over and Predators ml. Good luck buddy.

Bs pl -130 and Preds ov 5.5 -115 for me, parlay that over and the Bs ml 100/141. Sabres can't hang with Boston, can't score on them, nothing changes overnight. GL guys
Be the Hammer Not the Nail - GO BILLS and take the SABRES with you!!!

Best I can tell. Rangers 5 true b2b and are 3-2 and avg. 4.0 G/P in the wins. Flyers 9 true b2b and are 4-5 (they started the season 4-1 in b2b but they are 0-4 most recent b2b's and avg. 3.5 GA in those 4 games). BTW, I am trying to convince myself into Rangers tt. Thought about B's tt but concern for the overall effort tonight. Third straight playing Swords, if I bet unders, the Swords under vs Rask would be the bet but I HATE unders.

Thinking Preds hold on, at least I am hoping we don't see another 3P fiasco. Don't often add this late, but it's a Friday. Kings tt is at even money. The last 5 meetings with the Wild in LA, the Kings have scored at least 3 goals and they have scored at least 3 in 7 of last 10 meetings. What the hell, I will play those odds. Talbot is due for a small let down.
