This seems like a likely candidate. Then again, if his goal is to get a ring, that's a terrible choice.

I'm not assuming anything. And you're right, the chances are the Chiefs aren't facing the Eagles in the next Superbowl. But hypothetically speaking, if you're Hopkins (or any other good player for that matter) and your only motivation is a ring and you're willing to play for the league minimum so every team can afford you, which team(s) do you think give you the best shot? I'd have to put PHI and KC near the top of that list.

@bluecompass
Sure, can't argue with that. I also think one aspect of this is that Hopkins is a bit over-hyped at this point. Most likely whatever team gets him is going to over-pay for a guy who will under-perform. But still, he will boost the WR corps of that team.

I think you're right - whoever signs Hopkins will probably end up overpaying. Realistically, chances are the guy will probably be hurt for 4+ games. And I don't know enough about Hopkins to know what kind of value he provides in the locker room and on the sideline. Some players at this point in their career end up being valuable members of a team just as much for the stuff they do off the field as on the field. If he's the type of guy who would be a great mentor to a younger wide receiving corps, showing them how to prepare, how to analyze film, how to practice, how to conduct themselves off the field, etc... then Hopkins might be a good get for $15 million a year. But if he's not that type of guy, then you're likely going to be paying him about a million bucks a game for what will probably turn out to be slightly above average production.

Quentin Johnston Season.
Quentin Johnston Season.
Love NUK, will be fun to see if he is really after a ring or if more money is what he is after.
Chiefs- I think this would be the perfect spot but after not paying Hill his money, I can not see them paying Nuk his, unless he is willing to sign for a lower money contract, another factor no one really likes to talk about is, with a premier WR like Hill, the Chiefs weren't really better in terms of winning big games, Mahomes had to force targets to the top WR, whereas last season Mahomes can pick apart a defense, but this is where I want to see Nuk as a NFL fan.
Bills- This is probably the second best landing spot for Nuk, and I believe this type of addition will probably takes them over the top with Diggs and Davis offensively. Diggs and Nuk with Davis running fly routes will give any defense a big headache.
But... the visits have been to Titians and Patriots which leads me to believe money is a bigger consideration than what we all want to assume, or that guarantee Alpha target share.

He wants to get paid...49ers don't have a need for him and don't have the cap space...If he was willing to take $3 million he would be on the Chiefs already...
