The picks will go down. Hes young it will happen. So you think the bears could be better with orton? Kyle orton isnt bad but hes not taking the franchise to the next level. Much better chance with cutler

i think the more conservative offense in chicago is a plus for cutler. remember this is only cutler's 3rd year as a regular QB. for the last two years in denver, the RB situation has been a mess. the defense has been terrible. marshall has a lot of talent but is a headcase. that's a lot of pressure for a young QB. it's hard to evaluate a QB after basically two seasons, especially in denver, but i think he can be great. i'm not sure chicago has the coaching to get the job done, but with a good young RB and an emphasis on defense, i like cutler's chances in chicago.
i'm guessing that at the end of the 2009 season or the 2010 seasion, this will turn out to be a good trade for chicago.
thought i'd take responsibility for these comments back in april. unless things change drastically (and they still could but time is running out), cutler is going to be a classic example of a guy with a good arm and a lot of potential who just doesn't have the brain to put it together.
for a qb, a strong arm and talent is dangerous when you can't make good decisions. you're much better off having less physical talent and being smart and knowing your limitations like a pennington or brad johnson type of player.
